Is my art inconsistent?

Hello! Last time I posted here I ended up getting some really good advice, so I decided to try again cause oh wow am I strugglig right now.

So here's the thing; I finally started working on my very first comic for real now, finally feeling like I have a style I'm comfortable with and like I have both the energy and time... yet as I'm working on this comic, I find myself wondering if what I'm drawing is even consistent.

I tend to be hard on myself and nitpick my own art so looking at the panels I've finished so far I honestly can't tell if my art is consistent or if it's just me being me /:

I'm gonna include some examples of what I've drawn below, so here is what I would love to know: at a first glance, would you say it's consistent? You don't need to scrutinize it, I'm not looking for every single eyelash and freckle to be in place, but I want to know if it's passable or not ;;

If you came across this in a comic, would you be bothered by how inconsistent the art is and stop reading or would you not notice it unless someone pointed it out?

My advice is even if it were inconsistent, it's not something you should worry about. Experimentation is a key part of learning process, and you hurt yourself by not trying new things. Seeing improvement or changes regardless from page to page, is a positive thing a lot of readers associate as a sign of effort and passion on behalf of the artist.

what you're saying is so true, and honestly things I need to remind myself of more often. sometimes I'm just hung up on the "end goal" that I forget to enjoy the journey to get there so to say. thank you for the great reply!!

I could tell that the five images are of the same lady. Sometimes people might look a little different when they are making different facial expressions.

Honestly I've seen professionally published comics that had less consistency. You're fine on that front.
