Solid 5, kurapika’s (I assume) eyes just stare into the camera with very little concern for direction, his neck is too short, and his left eye is going outside the bounds of his face while the right one doesn’t, and if he’s meant to be looking straight ahead, that shouldn’t really happen

I apologize if I said something rude, again this is a solid 5, you just gotta do some fine tuning

I think it's a good start. If you keep practicing you are bound to get better.

I would recommend finding a way to better upload your art. Either with a scanner or photographing your work in a well lit room.

I never rate anything from 1 to 10 because a 10 means something different to me than to you
or to anyone else.

I think 1/4 of the eye size would look better and would be a good start

I think you're doing great, you just need to keep practicing and use references.
My only advice is when you're doing traditional drawing, try not to press down too hard on the pencil until the finishing stage. I can see the trace of the line you erased.
That's it, I won't rate your art. Have fun!

Also what critique would you give me?

I would recommend sketching your guide lines before you start drawing. It feels like you created sort of a mix between a front view and a 1/4 view.

Don’t put the pupils/irises in the actual center of the eye. Put them a bit closer to the center of the face if they’re meant to be staring directly towards the “camera”

Honest review from someone who once drew a drawing exactly like that:
Your rating is 1 out of 10, your level is absolute beginner. (the lowest possible level, someone who lacks practice, knowleadge and tecnique)
Good news is that your improving potential is all there, you just need to practice and learn the basics.

You might not be aware of that right now, in your mind your drawings are awesome and people are just being mean to you, but believe me, one day you'll look back at that drawing and realize it

Drawing is a very demanding task, both mentally and physically, only time will say if it's your thing or not.
Good luck.

If you are taking pictures of your art on your phone, it's better to not be so close. You don't want you images to be blurry or have a dark shadow on it. If there are edges of the photo you don't want people to see, you can always just crop them out in editing.

Wow, you reminded me of myself when I was drawing on paper, taking a picture, and saving it on my PC. So far, it's clear and understandable, but if you want it to be greater than what it is now, you have to scan it on a printer or purchase a drawing tablet.

Don't make my mistakes, I was hesitant at first as a kid but as time went on, it became beneficial. If you want the line to be more visible, best to use a black ink pen, just make sure you've done the sketching with pencil before you proceed with the ink and later the coloring.

GOOD LUCK.

Looks decent but you need to keep practicing to level up your skill. Serious practice can level you up beyond your own expectations

19 days later

keep practicing, you'll get better  me and my wife rank it a 5. keep up the good work
