Jurrasic or Minions?

I have the option to see a movie as a late birthday present... type... thing. I have the option of Jurassic World or that minions movie. Since I can't decide I'll ask you guys.

Totally Jurassic World. Minions is just a filler movie and a desperate attempt to make even a little more money off the Despicable Me line. And of course to try and sell more toys to unsuspecting children. They're as annoying and dying as Raving Rabbids from Rayman. Not worth seeing in theaters, just wait until it comes out on DVD. Jurassic World is way more worth the theater money.

I haven't seen it yet, mind you, but I wouldn't doubt if I were given the choice. Even if I end up not liking it, it looks like one of those films which look a lot cooler when seen in a theater.
I've never been a fan of those yellow things either.

@UzukiCheverie Yeah minions are a little annoying (and they are EVERYWHERE, t-shirts, books, apple juice containers, its driving me crazy!!!) Though granted it does seem like a fun movie, I'll get the dvd

But yeah, I'm definitely doing Jurassic world

I haven't seen Minions, but I did see Jurassic World, and it's an entertaining film as long as you're not looking for anything thought-provoking (and for a film like that you're probably not). It's deeply silly and the characters are awful, but it's fun and it looks great.

Tbh, I saw Minions and it was okay. Minions themselves are overdone and their backstory is a little much(seeing as its implied they had a hand in the Holocaust, 9/11, WW1, WW2, and more), but Scarlet Overkill was a pretty cool character o3o But it you can only see one, definitely see Jurassic Park

Actually I've heard that somehow?? the minions were locked up/out of commission during the WW2 era (figuring that Illumination guessed the possible implications of saying that they followed whoever was the Big Bad at the time)

then again I havent watched the movie nor do I care to. So it's up for debate.

I'm gonna be biased and say Jurassic World!

actually, the minions stopped working for villains after napoleon and staid in a cave until the 60's, and then after shortly working for Scarlet Overkill, they met Gru. So no WW and no 9/11

Haven't seen Minions yet, and probably won't since I didn't see Despicable me, but I kind of hated Jurassic World.

The characters were wooden, the dialogue was stiff and bloated, there was very little suspense compared to the original, large parts of it were just a generic CGI action-fest like every other blockbuster, it beat you over the head with its moral, and the plot relied on everyone but Owen and Clare being an utter dumbass.

That seems to put me at odds with most people. No offense to anyone who loved it, though.

I don't really watch the trailers for movies, they give too much information in my opinion.
The most I do is read a little blurb about the story and base it off that. Its more surprising that way.

....is it bad I'm not really interested in either of them? ^^; I'll probably watch Jurassic World eventually, just not in a rush to see it in theaters or anything. (Also haven't seen the Despicable Me movies.)

Jurassic world, takes a while to get to the good part of the movie but its well worth seeing for the last fight scene tbh

I saw Jurassic World on June 12 for my birthday and I can say it was definitely worth it, it was great for childhood nostalgia and made me feel like I was 8 again ^_^ I personally didn't care much for Despicable Me or the minions from it to be honest, dare I say I find the Minions annoying and don't understand why they became so popular
so yeah I vote dinosaurs!
