Just curious about asking this [What time of day do you draw?]

Jokes aside, I don't really have a schedule, I'm basically drawing when I can/able too as both my sleeping schedule and availability is all over the place due to health, life and medication. Most of the time though it seems to be when most everyone else I know is sleeping

In my case i draw comicrg in the morning from 9am onwards til i can and maybe stop at 6 or 7pm since im a nightshift animator at 8pm T_T)

I've heard and read about that before, but in the context of writing. Unfortunately- in my case I just get incoherent when I'm tired and unable to structure anything useful.

I work evening shift so most of my free time to draw is in the morning, and this usually carries over to my days off.

I always draw in the morning after getting some coffee. I have it wired into me now that is how I start my day.

I draw for as long as I'm at my desk (which is all day since I live on the internet.) so that'd be typically from 11 am to 2 am

hmm This one a toughie for me I tend to draw whenever I have spare time but like drawing more at night because I find I'm more productive

I draw when I have time.

Every monday and tuesday I draw after 7pm because we have a local drink and draw I go to.

Besides that its usually whenever I have a free day and dont feel absolutely exhausted. I think my most productive days are when I have a day where I get up around say 9ish, get some coffee and can work all day when my roommates are not home. Then I can have snack breaks, dance breaks, long deep thought breaks, and then get back to it. Sometimes I also do that more towards the night where Ill start in the afternoon and go until I need to sleep. But those days are a bit rare for me given my work/school/living situation.

Well for me it is at night, but strangely it isn't because it is quiet but because I feel more able to draw and create. while in the day I can't do as well most of the time.

Not immediately after I wake up. I usually go online first right after eating breakfast and taking care of a few things.
Usually during the afternoon is when I draw, or later while it's dark.

I can only ever draw at night. By doing this I can set a goal to finish an episode, then my reward would be sleep

I read a very good scientific article of why that is happening to many artist - because your brain has been working through the day and the later you stay, the less your brain "worries" - aka, you make smoother lines because you do it automatically, without thinking too much, or you come up with better concepts and ideas, because your brain is not as self-conscious of how other will perceive it. In a way, staying late makes you more liberal with your art choices.

Wow that is fascinating - is that why I prefer to draw / create early in the morning before work? My brain feels completely clear at about 5am, but unlike many of you guys, I find it hard to stay up late and create unless under some kind of intense deadline...

I usually draw between 7pm and 12pm.

Sometimes I draw earlier...like at 4pm and sometimes I draw later (like sometimes until 2am...which I avoid doing but will do from time to time if I am in a crunch)

Depends on my shift. If I have a day shift on the afternoons, and if I have night shift around midday.

I prefer to draw during the day time, but unfortunately my drawing time is based on my school/work schedule while managing a family.

I prefer drawing in the morning or the evening. I used to draw a lot during the night but now I'm trying to fix my sleeping schedule. At first it was difficult to learn to draw during the morning because I'm practically a zombie when I wake up but now I'm starting to get a lot done in the early hours of the day. Yay!
