Hello!

Who can kindly explain how Ko-fi works and the difference between being tipped on tapas than there?
Can you also link your Ko-fi profile on the author comment section underneath your chapter, or you are risking of being shut down if you do so?

A few things.

  1. kofi doesn’t take a cut. They are running solely on having people pay for extra features.
  2. You don’t have points or anything, just money, so there isn’t really a “give free” situation like with ink.
  3. You set the price on tips, so the minimum is abased on your choice.
  4. As stated above, with a subscription you can offer incentives, commissions, and more things that will allow you to reward your donators. All of which do not take a cut.

Thank you! @snailienz

As a writer, what do you think they should post on their feed? What content? And also, commissions are "jobs" that people ask you to fulfil?

I would look on kofi for writers and see what they offer supporters. typically something related to what you create, like tutorials or sneak peeks or even secret content.

Commissions are indeed jobs. You offer your skills to people and they pay you to use them to fulfill what they’d like. this is for private one time offers, not commercial stuff.

I'd love to but I don't even know how kofi operates. I attempted to open an account but didn't even finish opening

It's basically "buy me a coffee" which is meant to imply giving tips to people in small form. its really cool imo.
