congrats! btw make sure you read your contract. I know of an artist who sighed with a company and it was good for a while, but then the company closed and he can't work on his comic anymore because he gave up his copyright and the company still technically has it. So, if you can make sure there is a clause in your contract that your copyright transfers back to you(s) if something like that happens. Also hold onto dramatic rights, because if it gets animated, you get paid.
