Hello everyone, I've been having some issues with deciding how to layout my comic and how to update it.
See, most people on Tapastic just make a new episode for every new page but I find it kind of bothersome for people who read comics on a computer or desktop (and even mobile to some extent) How I updated my old comic (Before i deleted and restarted it) I updated by adding a new page every week to the same episode (I named all my episodes after chapters for ex: Chapter 1 (episode 1) Chapter 2 (episode 2)) but I felt like it was still awkward and it was hard to actively update my readers on when it updated (Not to mention it was also annoying having to scroll to find the new pages). I could use a little advice or a couple opinions on what I should do as I keep working on and updating my comic.
Thank you for your time!
-Fizzy, out.

I personally just update my comic in 3-5 page batches twice a month. I don't particularly like one page per episode updates either, especially for long form comics like mine--and people seem to appreciate it. I'll ask every once in awhile if they would rather me update more often with less content and they always say that they like the sweet spot I've got going. Maybe it would work for you?

I would definitely stop updating within the same episode though, if you do that your story will never hit the fresh section. You only get put on there when a new episode is uploaded.

its definitely a better idea to make a new episode per page than to add pages to a preexistent episode, however i understand how per-page updates can get tiresome, and daunting to new readers. if you can make 2 to 4 pages over a week, or even a fortnight, id post them together in weekly/biweekly updates. if you only make a page a week, though, you could just do episode per page, as many successful comics do, or post it page-per-week somewhere else like tumblr, and then put them together into scenes or entire chapters here. it depends on the kind of pacing youre after.

I update my series once a week, and I use the usual webtoon layout. Like, several scroll down panels per episode or 5 to 7 pages per episode. It's different foreach episode, depending on how long/short the story I wanted to put it in each episodes. I hope you find your answers!
