Welcome back @hotsubsandwich! I like the schedule you're giving yourself, just a couple posts per month. I know the struggle of trying to complete a full comic page on a weekly basis. That's why I didn't start posting until I had a nice buffer, but I'm still coming up on it pretty quick.

Let me know if you feel like you're able to still build an audience only poster a couple of times per month, or if you find it hard to keep subscribers If your comic audience consistently grows, I may do exactly that once I catch up and am out of my buffer pages.

Your comic looks great so far! I like the character designs and you have a great eye for color. They really pop off the screen and grab the reader. I also really like the look of the flashback page (page 13). The style change is really cool! Any plans to have more of that?

If you're interested feel free to check out my comic, Stop Watchers (it checks your boxes for scifi and adventure). It's about a trio of time travelers whose job it is to stop time criminals from changing the past.

..........................scifi comics, you say?

i dont have one, but here are some on tapas i think youll really like!!

a really beautiful scifi about a young woman, her gay moms, and alien abduction. i dont 100% understand the plot yet but thats bc i dont pay enough attention, what i do know is its enthralling and the art. the art!!

alien invasion and lgbt representation again, flavour of the century. fst is like... amazing? the art, the writing, the characters... its all incredibly unique, and entrancing.

kinda scifi, kinda fantasy, its confusing. vampires get together to take a space ship to a magic spire that might make them human, but theyre being chased by yellow vampire-slaying robots. i love this comic. so much.

dystopian free running!! this comic is one ive followed for the longest time and its been consistently amazing

also, congrats on reaching such an exciting benchmark!! its great getting that first chapter out there, and i wish your comic the best of luck~

Thanks so much for the encouragement. I'm glad you like my comic! I have thumbnails for future chapters that include flashbacks and I am planning on keeping to that black and white/sin city-ish style to really distinguish the flashbacks from the present!

I started reading your comic! The premise looks really interesting. I'll definitely be keeping up with it. I'll let you know how the bi-monthly update schedule goes. I'm hoping it is still frequent enough to keep readers but we'll see!

I like your story. It seems really interesting. Liking the art style and the panel layout.

If you like techy style comic series, im working on one.

hahaha! totally relatable! Right now I'm drawing this one:

But in reality, the biggest step is to START a comics! According to a lot of VETERANS in comics we will learn so much by just starting out.

IdiotWithPencil have good recommendation. Plan a lot but get ready to be flexible, sometimes ideas keep popping that might go against what you plan but if it is good then why not go with it!

But ALAS just remember to ENJOY what you are doing! AJA!

here is my WEBCOMIC by the way. Please check it out too:

Yay scifi! The suggested comics here look interesting, I'll check them out!
Here's my comic:

Very nice! Here is my comic, The Chronicles of SolLuna. It's a sci-fi, steampunk comic about a tech magic cleric who gets embroiled in a conspiracy. I try to update at least twice a month due to my busy schedule, so there's not much yet.

I checked your comic a little bit. I don't know how you feel about constructive criticism so disregard if you're not interested. It shows promise. The colouring is pretty good, so I would concentrate on doing some anatomy and perspective studies to push to the next level.
I wish you the best of luck. It's really hard gaining a following on Tapas. I'm not really trying anymore. I have more "luck" on other platforms. But here's mine, old-school sci-fi fantasy, if you'd like to check it out. I made a big buffer before starting my webcomic and have been posting weekly for 39 weeks. Sadly my buffer is running out so I'll have to go on hiatus while I finish the next chapter.

Hi! My sis and I work on a sci-fi webcomic. It's cool to see more. We update weekly on Fridays.

Hello there! Best of luck with your second attempt! As someone who used to rush into stories without bothering to come up with an ending in advance, I understand where you're coming from and why you chose to take a step back. I think buffers are very important, but I also think that every artist needs to find an arrangement that suits them best. I feel most comfortable when I have a big fat buffer - maybe that would work for you, maybe not. Here's to figuring it out!

I subscribed to your comic. You have a nice premise that can go to very interesting places, and I'd like to know how it develops. Keep up the good work.

Now then: sci-fi, you say? And romance? I've got both! When you have time and if you'd like, feel free to check out my two series on Tapas. Whatever the case, I hope you enjoy your experience here.

Hi Kayla, welcome again! Glad you're taking a second shot at posting here, and that you've found a more sustainable schedule. That's always so important!

If you like cyberpunk and dystopian sci-fi (minus the typical cool, gritty hero and replaced with two awkward kids), check out my comic Centralia 2050! The 4th chapter just started up so there's a satisfying chunk of story readily available.

Hey, I'm running Vanguard171!

It's loosely sci-fi but the aim is more of a space opera. The gist is that it follows two test pilots for a next-gen space fighter program, the squadron they embed with, their carrier, and the colony they're all on. I tried to create a diverse cast on a new-but-familiar setting, and with a little morality play that comes in later. There's romance (even a love triangle) on the way, drama, comedy, trash-talk, and yes, SPAAACE. I aim for weekly updates, but I'm working a day-job so that does mean I'll miss a week or two. That said, I'm more than happy to engage with the readers.

My two main characters are good folks who exchange a ton of trash talk, but the expanded cast of the whole thing, I can't not love them. I do have a few favorites, though. Anyway, if you've read/watched Gundam, Macross, Legend of Galactic Heroes, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, and the like, you might like this! Feel free to comment, share, and follow!

I love constructive criticism! On my hiatus that is one of the thing's I've been working on. I have read a ton of blogs on perspective and learned more about vanishing points etc over the past two months. This may sound like an excuse but I think I forgave myself for wonky perspectives and inaccurate anatomy a lot more when I was posting weekly without a buffer because I felt like I didn't have enough time to do it properly.
Thanks for taking a look at my comic and I'll be sure to check yours out!

Hi Kayla!

Wow, such dedication! It looks so promising though! Keep on fighting! <3

Here's my sci-fi comic if you interested!
