What are your thoughts on liking your own content?
I'm not talking about whether you like what you make, but rather do you click the like button on your own content for one reason or another and why?

I think that's fine, unless you're using multiple alt accounts to manipulate your numbers or something.

I mean I don't really have an issue with it since it seems harmless to me. I don't do it though, since I see the reason for likes to be how many people enjoyed reading your comic

I think about doing it with my own comics since I hardly ever get outside likes, but I feel like it's kind of defeating the purpose of the like, share, comment aspect.

Well, I subscribed to my own comic to have an extra link to click to get to it but that's about it. XD I don't think there's anything really bad about Liking your own work, I'd just personally feel kinda weird doing it.

Plus it might be a lie if I have serious issues with the art on that page. XP

It's like liking ur own instagrams: if you have enough other people liking it to cover it up it's fine.

It's the kind of thing I always do once, just to see if I can!

I'm doing this all the time. First like on each of my page, is mine.

I simply like what I did, so why not to like it?

I think there's nothing wrong with liking your own content, especially if you don't have a lot of followers. It allows you to gain a better position in the lists. It won't do much, but if you have very little followers or they are for some reasons inactive, it can make a difference. For example, I have like about 20 followers on FB, some of them have "popular first" option on, if I post a drawing or a link, they don't even see it! If I like my own post, at least I get a chance to be seen. I'm not a bad artist. I just don't have followers on FB. It's not that I manipulate stats, it's the stats that manipulates people's ability to reach a certain content. Also I think my posts feel lonely if noone likes them, I know it's weird, but I actually think it's something like this! )))

I have 2 accounts, one for my main comic and another for a Danganronpa fan thing where each account is subscribed to the other for the sole purpose of double checking if the upload went through :U In terms of liking my own content, I mean, I see it as more of like someone on Facebook liking their own posts perse? :U There's nothing wrong with that, it's just kinda cringy at times (cause I knew someone who used to do that on Facebook ^^")

Haven't done it but you know, you should always be your own biggest fan ;D

I mean, I make my comic for myself and if I update something I like I'll like it lol. I dont think theres anything wrong with it other than people judging me for it but that doesn't really affect me.

I don't mind if others do this but I've accidentally liked my own comic and was a little embarrassed by it. I've also accidentally subscribed or unsubscribed to comics when using my phone. Clumsy thumb I guess.

I don't do it but I don't have a problem with it. The only time I have an issue is when people make multiple accounts to like and subscribe to their own work.

I always like my own stuff. I'm of the opinion that you should like your own work, and there is nothing wrong with showing it. smile

For some reason I think it's just narcissistic when people do that :'''D
I'm not saying that it's wrong, it's just how I feel about it.

i think whether you do it or not it doesn't matter , it's just a like , i mean what's the big deal?...
