I would think that it would be based on views and the interaction it has been receiving (subs, likes, n comments). Perhaps it resets when you upload an episode cause I also see mines being pushed down a tad bit, and it would depend on the activity of readers to help push it back up. This is just from observation though!

Also, I have noticed that the view count has been broken? Mines hasn't gone up since Saturday and my comic def has been pushed back a couple of pages frm the popular sorting. And I feel like that would be a problem for people who are trying to get pledges via their patreon campaign going on as well.

Ahh, that would definitely make sense! Good thinking.

As for the view count. I ran some Facebook ads a few weeks back and supposedly got 8k views from them, but only saw in increase in about 1.5-2k views on the tracker. So yeah, I don't trust their stats at all. In fact, I watch them sometimes, and they jump up and down all the time. +200, -300, +150, -250. There's definitely some kind of bug going on there.

Actually, my account has been bugged too? I haven't been recieving views since September 15 which is bad for my patreon campaign. I also noticed my webtoon disappeared in the popularity sort. It happened before too but its not that big of deal but now I'm losing views that could get me a better pledge. I already contacted webtoon thru their feedback? thing but I still haven't received any reply. I'm really concerned.

@antimekii yeah I feel like everyone is effected. I've seen freshly new webtoons with 0 views but with subs + ratings so you're not the only one. I hope they can sort it out cause I don't want to see people who are eligible for the pledge not get their payment cause of some bug q___q

I wouldn't be surprised if they're trying to sort out issues with the views to prevent botting. If so, I hope they figure it out soon!

Line sure are taking their sweet sweet time updating this month. It's been like... 2 months since the Webtoon X Patreon programme got announced and they haven't pledged to anybody XD. There's only one week of September left. I bet people who are eligible are getting annoyed.

I talked to LINE, so everyone who's been wondering why there hasn't been a patreon pledge yet, here's what they told me

As happy as we are to see the unexpectedly large volume of new sign-ons for the Discover x Patreon program, we are also experiencing some difficulties going through our first month's pledge verification process via Webtoon and Patreon. We are almost finished with the verification process, and we will be making the announcement by end of this week, and the pledge process will also begin right away for all the eligible creators from August.

Again, we apologize for the delayed process and appreciate for your patience.

Haha My comic was featured a little while back but it didn't have a really big impact on my readership. They kinda picked a bad pic to represent it, though, so I'm not really surprised.

Webtoon editors have been SUPER travelling from city to city.

This summer they've been at Boston Comic Con, Rose City Comic Con, Baltimore Comic Con and this weekend New York Comic Con.
