Lmao! I guess you can say I'm an unintentional longtime fan, I lost track of your stuff after you finished your comic on DD, but followed you again when you first started posting Space School on SJ. I recognized your style at the time, so it was like "Oh hey! I know that person!"
Yeah, it's interesting seeing what combos do well on each site. Oddly enough it feels like Webtoons has more diversity with what genres get popular than on here. A lot of the more popular comics here have some kind of romance element, at least that's the most recent thing, while Webtoons has some horror, slice of life, action, a little bit of everything. It also seems like they're starting to push a larger variety in visual styles, while Tapas prefers that Japanese and Korean aesthetic, or styles that are loosely similar. Instagram is definitely more of a gag-a-day place due to the upload style.
Then you get Comicfury and The Duck Webcomics which don't really have a preference... maybe general western, but Comicfury especially just does whatever. Flowfo, a newer site, which doesn't seem to have much of a niche yet. There are probably a few more I forgot about.
Anyways, it's fun to observe possible similarities between the comics that do well.
