Hey all!
So, I've seen a lot of folks in these forums really, really want sci-fi and/or fantasy comics, but I rarely see folks actually recommend such comics to each other here? (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong by linking any other threads you may know of that are promoting comics like these!)
From what I've seen, there seems to be a lot of, "I want x thing!" without any action, instead of, "Let's find x thing and support it." which is a little frustrating, because sci-fi and fantasy comics do struggle here and on other sites, so I think the best way to fix that, is to actually talk about them and support them!(This means not only reading them, but liking, commenting, and sharing on social media sites!)
So, I've looked through Tapas real quick and found some stuff I thought looked promising (quite a few of these were even picked out by the staff, and were just sitting on the front page, waiting...) and I encourage you to share your favorite sci-fi or fantasy comics here on Tapas in the replies.
Please understand this is not a thread to complain about genres or comics you don't like. I'm a romance/erotica writer, and I'm queer, and uh, gotta be honest, some of the things being said in the forums lately have really hurt me to read. Let's try to be kind to each other by spreading some positivity! Let's try to lift up folks who are doing their best to make their comics!
Lots of these comics have LESS THAN 1000 SUBS, so hey, SHOW UP FOR THE GENRE YOU LIKE. Make it a fun challenge to yourself to get these comics more well loved, and more looked at on this site.

Well my comic, Auster, is a urban fantasy. Before I had it under sci-fi because there's this secret organization that has really advanced technology but in the end I think it fits better under urban fantasy.
Genre: Action / Horror / Fantasy

Fantasy comics struggle? I thought they were the mass majority of webcomics since creators like escapism over real life stuff. (Not complaining, just observing.)

I read/I've read most of these but not all of them.
This is a nice Fantasty/Romance comic. The art starts a bit shaky but gets much better when the second artist takes over.
My main webcomic is a fantasy;
My upcoming one is sort of science-fiction as it takes place in the future;

From what I saw in these forums, that was the impression I was getting. I was surprised too-- but, I think "fantasy" especially is a very, very wide genre so it's easy to say, "It does well!" if you're looking a certain comics and then say, "It's not doing well!" based on others. Stuff is complicated.

Sorry about that! I'm just one person, trying to help push folks to support each other, and not actually someone who seeks out fantasy and/or sci-fi comics specifically to read myself.
It's possible I saw your comic when I was searching, but skipped over it. Your cover/thumbnails/banner are all very nice right now, but I think they could be improved with some small tweaks, and I think your summary could be tightened up too. All of the bones are there (like, I wouldn't scrap your current cover, I'd just add a face or character to it) it just needs some editing. Forgive me if I'm overstepping my bounds, that's just my first impression as someone who works on my own SEO and marketing quite a bit.
