@sarrowsmith10 Thank you so much for the compliment!
I've looked through the pages you have uploaded so far and here are my thoughts!
Goblins of Razard:
- The comic is colorful and appealing without being over-saturated! I like the magic effects and how they're done in particular. Also, in terms of the coloring, I really like the shading/coloring style of the several newest pages. In fact, the newest pages are great in general! I feel like the visuals for the action has also improved a lot in those newest ones.
- The characters are all interesting and have enough of their motives and personalities revealed to the reader without giving everything away; you gradually get to learn more about them, both the protagonists and the antagonists. (I particularly like the sleepy little bird, even if it's maybe not the most important character!)
I actually find there's a reason to like all of the characters each in their own way, even if I don't necessarily agree with what they're doing.
- The flashback sequences work their way into the plot and don't overstay their welcome; they last just long enough to give the reader some information, but not long enough to break the flow of the present narrative.
- The character designs are recognizable and unique, but still simple enough. I can always respect character design that manages that fine line of balance between simple and visually interesting without clutter.
In summary, the story is interesting and I'm eager to see where the characters' motivations will take them, particularly that of the more antagonistic forces. I think the story does a good job of getting you invested into the world and its characters so that you still have things to think about while you wait for the story to continue.
Thanks for letting me review your comic~!
