The "live action" Lion King is so realistic it doesn't have color grading. I guess that's not realistic enough.

As an artist, the take that "modern art sucks" isn't controversial, though most people don't actually understand what modern art is. Modern art is art that's from 1860s to the 1970s, including any artist works that favored experimentation and expressionism.
So do you like starry night? Congrats, you like modern art. at least, you like one type from that catagory.
if you mean the blank color blob art: 
this is Abstract Expressionism. A lot of people don't like it, but then again it's extremely hard to appreciate it in photos. It looks really stupid online but when you look at in person, you realize these are huge. You're supposed to sit in front of it and immerse yourself in the color, and let your mind wander.
Like, sure, it's not as narrative as say a biblical painting of the virgin mary or something, but its still art IMO. It's just not everyone's vibe.

MHA sucks
most isekai stories suck or don't use the genre properly
Cats are not only better pets, most people are unqualified to have a dog bigger than a toddler.
Adults should trick or treat
Lore Olympus sucks in both story and art.
More fantasy/paranormal stories should have queer characters.
My takes
Cereal is better dry. I've tried enjoying cereal with milk like you're supposed to, but it will always be disgusting
Apple products are just ok. My Samsung, Microsoft, and Apple devices all did what I need them to do so I don't understand the big deal. Apple products can't even be modified, hardware wise.
I don't think the Rick & Morty anime is that bad. Yeah, it's weird and confusing, but it's not as horrendous as everyone said it was. The art style is kinda cute. I probably won't watch the rest (I've only seen 5 eps) as it's just so-so. There should have been more to separate it from the original like what Toei did with PowerPuff Girls

I'll never understand how McDonald's nuggets are so popular when Wendy's exists. McNuggets are so blah.
@Rowan_Lane A lot of isekai is so bland. Most of the time the MC just gets what they want, is instantly liked the moment they die, their past life is meaningless, and somehow the smartest and strongest around. If there was a threat of the MC being sent back to the cruel real world, it'd be more interesting.

I'm surprised negative opinions on LO are unpopular. I used to like it at 1st, but as it went on I realized that it was a improvised mess with questionable relationships and "feminism". The whole SA plot with Apollo ended horrendously. How did it win any awards?!

The Last of Us Part 2, while I think the story is indeed flawed, it is still a great game IMO and did not deserve the hate it got
When mecha anime manages to repair ships or mobile suits that have taken significant damage during battle without a proper industrial repair facility... I facepalm.

(A) New words/phases are confusing to learn and harder to use. Acronyms too.
Sometimes, not everyone has the same understanding of the same word/phrase so it gets very confusing. I had to check what "take" meant for this topic. It means perspective or opinon. (unless it does not in this case?
)
So many acronyms. Some are the same letters made up with different words, some are said out loud with exactly the same number of syllables.
- Pizza with pineapples is amazing.
- The only thing McDonalds can do right is make french fries.
- Coffee sucks.
- Chick-fil-A is low-key kind of overrated.
- Whataburger is where it's at. (They literally stayed open during Texas's snowmegeddon in my neighborhood so no one starved. I will forever be grateful to Whataburger.)

- Edward from Twilight wasn't hot. (He was a stalker)
- Home Alone movies are stupid.
- Sharkboy and Lavagirl will forever and always be corny and weird.
I guess my most controversial takes, outside of the stuff I already said...
- I think social media messes with people's heads. And it's really horrible for impressionable teenagers. I have heard stories of people taking a break from Twitter or TikTok and their whole mental health just changed.
- It's OK to enjoy a show or movie without spending hundreds on merch and collectables.
- Wearing photos on people on your clothes is cursed
- Sometimes I like things that are just normal and basic, and not weird at all.
Oh, I know I'm about to start a fight in this... I don't usually share these things but they're true for me. Don't come for me.

Most of the popular, more recent shounen are poorly written, including Attack on Titan and JJK. I don't think too highly of Boku no Hero Academia or Boruto either.
Oddly enough though, in contrast, shojo seems like it has gotten better in recent years.
Mexican food tastes awful, including authentic homemade, fast food, "Tex-Mex", all of it. Tried it all because I'm constantly bothered by people who insist that if I just had this one kind or this one dish, I'd like it. But for real, I don't like ANY of it, even the hot chocolate. The flavors of any of it all make me feel sick for some reason. Literally makes no sense, I know.
A.I. art is acceptable when an artist uses it as a tool to do part of the work either to save time or to fill in a gap in their skills. As long as they work on the image themselves (beyond just filters; like if they are drawing additional details or making a collage), it should still be valid as their artwork. However, pure A.I. generated art that has no significant artist-drawn edits or only has a filter as an edit should NOT be considered art.
The Twilight movies were unbelievably awful. I know movies are often different from their book counterparts, but it was basically not even the same story anymore, particularly in the earlier movies.
Android is better for phones but Apple is better for tablet devices like the iPad.
Once again, don't come for me. These are opinions, not facts 
Couple more:
1: Tracing is ruining comics. Everyone has the same body type and it's boring. It makes every dude on webcomics/tapas looks the same.
2: Zack Snyder makes bad movies (Watchmen and 300 get a pass as he basically copied the comics panel for panel), Michael Bay movies aren't as bad as people say.
3: Taylor Swift is good at what she does. You might not like what she does but she isn't bad.
4: Carl's Jr has the best hamburgers of the fast food types. In-n-out is overrated.
The community is mean, too. They're always so jealous and rate my work so low. (Mind you, my works don't even have any engagement there, so I don't get it.)

Chainsaw Man's art is terrible (especially the humans), and the whole thing is overrated.
Any manga series that sticks around more than 200 chapters has overstayed its welcome. Unless it's an anthology series where the chapters don't really have a continuity (like Doraemon) and you don't really need to read them in order.
I don't mind AI art. I've used several as a reference photo (I'm mostly a traditional artist). People showing off the AI-generated artwork as if feeding prompts to the generator is the same as them creating the artwork is lame, however.
