@zelkats Maybe you could contact the creators you already contacted to specify that:

100% of the comics featured there are used without authorization. The site was created today. Chances are that the owner Tya Restami has done this before and got busted. For effective action, contact the host at https://www.digitalocean.com/

The registrar is Asian and doesn't have anything in English, so it may be more difficult to make your case. But Digital Ocean is based in New York and seems to be a reputable company. No legal hope unfortunately. Thieves like this pull similar stunts all the time. He'll just move his app en masse to another server and the victims will have to be vigilant. He might even change name frequently. There is little that can be done to prevent such thieves. You can ban a whole country from accessing your material but it doesn't stop the problem and may prevent genuine users from accessing your comics.

What Tapastic need to do quickly is make it so that rogues developers cannot vacuum the contents on their servers en masse with robots. I'm not sure they have protection for that. As you can guess, the thief did not go into each and every comic and download each page. They used mass downloading apps, and Tapastic can protect itself from this. They apparently are not. Put pressure on Tapastic so that they update their servers' security.
