Ahaha one time in fourth grade I paid a girl one quarter to be my friend

I was maybe 8? We were in Vegas at a gift shop and I'm holding a stuffed horse and I run up saying "Look, Daddy!" except the guy who had his back to me wasn't my dad but some stranger.

I was maybe 11? I was at a kid's museum and I was walking really fast towards an exhibit, my arms swinging out. My left hand at its farthest back cupped a guy walking behind me.

Then in college, it was late morning and my boyfriend and I got back to my dorm from breakfast. We head upstairs and play around a bit. I say a nsfw thing and from under the covers of the bed opposite mine I hear my roommate "You GUYS, I'm right HERE." I didn't know she had come back from her girlfriend's place so soon.

When my best friend and I were 12 or 13 we went to a public lake to swim and one of the guys who was probably about 16 at the time lost his swimming shorts somehow so he came up to us while we were swimming asking if we have seen them around, my friend and I looked at each other all weirded out and we both said no. About 10 minutes later the guy found his shorts and when he did he yelled out to his friends- "HEY GUYS I FOUND THEM!" while waving with his shorts in his hand.

This friend and I have experienced many weird and awkward things together, whenever we hang out something is bound to happen.

It happened last year when I was in Japan and study their language. Me and my friend lived in a host family. I'll make it short. But I kinda accententily walked in when the family's grandpa took a bath. Just like in the anime, but IRL I just ran away and scream: SUMIMASEN!
My friend just laughed at me. and after that I couldn't look in granpas eyes.

This is probably not the most awkward, but it's the only one I can remember at this moment.

• Giving a present to a girl I like
• Girl is about to receive it
• I UNWRAP THE PRESENT ( I WRAPPED IT UP ) AND GIVE IT TO HER
• Then she stares at me like " Bruh" because SHE was the one supposed to unwrap it lol
• Then I realize what I just did and I go all " WTFFFFFFFFFF"

She loved the present tho, she said it was " like a dream come true ". She " knew " I was excited to give her the present :V .

Dunno about most awkward, but most recent:
When I drink I rant/talk about.... stupid things.
So on New years I ended up ranting about who knows what, but everyone else remembers and keep making strange remarks about it... I wish I knew what I said.... But I do remember ranting.

When I was in High School (before cellphones where common) I called my grandma to tell her I will be going to a friends house to do a group project...well...she forgot. And end up calling almost all my classmates looking for me. The day after that was kinda awkward at school lol.

Bonus point: Some people thought I was a badass after that lol

Hmm, probably everytime me and a stranger has had trouble walking past each other. That thing where you step left and they step left and then both of you just go in circles trying to get past the other. Yeah.... i've had that happen one too many times.

I've met people like that. Something always happens to me is that I say hello to a friend and he is like: "dude! Why did you ignore me yedterday? I saw you walking by and you didn't looked at me!!!".
That is always akward to me because I have astigmatism. Haha!

Maybe the most awkward is then I had to do presentations in front of the class and I ended up having a panic attack. I've always noticed that I am more prone to panic attacks if I have to memorize a bunch of stuff, yet tend to be more relax when I wing it.

Also when I was in middle and high school, I would trip a lot. So when I fell, it was super embarrassing. I'm still sort of clumsy as an adult, I fell at work last December, that was awkward.

One time I was invited to a dinner party, and there were also two mormon missionaries at this party. To clarify I'm not mormon and know very little about the religion. The two missionaries, who both happen to be male, are talking about their missionary work. They repeatedly refer to the other as "their companion". The whole time I'm thinking to myself "Cool! Gay mormons." Well it turns out that "companion" is the term they used for their missionary buddy and they were not infact gay.

I don't remember what I said, but somehow it got out that I thought they were gay companions, and the rest of the evening was awkward as heck.

Alright I finally have a somewhat awkward moment! So, I was young and me and my crush who was my best friend, at the time, were fighting. I dont know what we were fighting about but we hadnt seen each other in like weeks. We have the same friends and they always thought that we were dating each other. However, they didnt know that we had argued. So my friend invited me over for a little hang out but the thing is that she didnt tell me my best friend was over there too! Everyone greets me except for her and they were like...?????

So I sit across from her and didnt speak to her either. Minutes go by and I see a notification on my phone that tells me an anime con is coming up so I look at one of my close friends and ask her if she wants to go. Now, mind you my best friend and I were supposed to go but since we're fighting like some married couple, I didnt think she wanted to anymore. Suddenly my best friend goes, "Oh so you're gonna go with her now!?" And the room goes dead silent. I am dying inside, sweat pouring down my face. I didnt know what to say so I didnt say anything XD

She ended up leaving minutes after that from anger ;w;
