My comic is no longer appearing on the fresh list, what is going on?

so i noticed everytime i update my comic, it no longer apears on the fresh list, and that is what supose to help me gett my comic noticed too, so does anyone have that issue too, or is there any other reason behind this,
at first i tough it wasant working because i was uploading a page everyday for 5 days, so i tought it wont show up on the fresh list if you do that, but now i took a 4 weeks break without uploading nothjing, and i just uploaded now, and no, still not showing up on the fresh section, if anyone knows anything, do let me know

I'm not sure, but I interpreted the "Fresh" meaning that the comic was newly created? Like, not for new PAGES but for new SERIES. Don't quote me on that, tho.

Fresh is 'New and recently updated comics'
its right below the category/listing names (Popular, Trending, Fresh, Staff Picks, Browse All) when you click 'Fresh'
if its not there, it means ur comic isnt fairly new anymore and/or hasnt been recently updated

If you are updating the same episode over and over, as many series do, you will not show up in the fresh section. The Fresh section shows your thumbnail only if you have updated a new episode.

However if you have updated a new episode and it doesn't work, make sure to check how long it's been since you have recently updated. In almost no time can a series be pushed down.

But after all of that, it may be possible that there is a glitch in the system. A simple way to fix it is to delete the episode and re-upload it again. The site's not perfect, but that shouldn't stop you from doing what you need to do.

if you're posting your pages in a chapter that already exists on the website, it doesn't count as updating but editing the chapter. You only appear in "fresh" if you post a new chapter. Kind of dumb, but it helps keep the "fresh" section from being flooded.

Wow, so that explains why so many people have one page per episode. Good to know. I find it really annoying to read when comics have every page segmented into its own episode (to me, that defeats the purpose of the whole concept of an episode), but now I understand why they do that.

It's also a lot easier to find the new pages when you update. If you upload them to the existing episode, the reader has to scroll through all the previous pages just to find them, and the update notification appears in the activity feed rather than the reading list. This means mobile readers probably won't even see it.

It's a bit of a trade-off. Uploading everything to one episode is nicer for organisation purposes, and for people reading the archives, but individual episodes are better for the people already subscribed, and mean people are more likely to see your comic. It also encourages likes and comments if you use individual episodes. People are more likely to leave regular comments if it's a fresh episode, rather than commenting multiple times on the same episode whenever new pages are added.

I actually find it annoying to read when a single episode has a bunch of print-optimized pages stacked together XD If the comic is scroll-optimized, then that's fine.

And what @gateofselidor said. 1-per-episode encourages likes and comments. It feels awkward to comment on a new page that got added to an existing episode, especially if that episode already has comments on stuff that was there before. Kind of like trying to join a conversation after it's already over.

I guess with that point I can see merit in both ways of doing it. I still like having episodes be like chapters, though. If the comic has hundreds of pages, then navigating the episode list to me is as bad as trying to find your place in an individual chapter (at least you can remember what chapter you were in). Maybe it would help if more people put page numbers on their episode titles.
