Need help on making a suitable cover for my story

I feel like my story doesn't really match up in terms of everyone's art style in their front cover. So I was just wondering on how or where people make their front cover suit their story.

I think it depends on the genre of your story and what's your main character
Generally speaking, people draw two characters together for their romance comic, and many other genres use only one MC or even more characters, but you have to be selective to make them fit on the cover, in this case less is more

Me personally, I commissioned my novel cover from a good friend who is an artist. I've got a new story scheduled to come out soon-ish, and I commissioned the art for that one from an incredible artist I found on deviantart. It's not finished yet, but it was $30 USD, not too bad when it comes to art sales.

If that's out of your pocketbook range, you can always find images free to use (royalty and commercial use free, methinks) and use canva.com to add some pretty, fancy text on top That's what I did before I got in touch with artists.

There's always threads here on the forums where people offer to draw your character for free to get practice, as well. You could always hit them up, or make your own post asking if anyone would be interested in some pro bono work!

I use Canva, PicsArt and Unsplash both of these three things are like heaven if you don’t have the money to spare. Unsplash have high quality copyright free pictures you can use with no charge. And Canva have some really great fonts, and I use PicsArt to add transparent images over a picture or to add details.

I recommend you picsart for making cover of your story. It has premium unlocked features at zero cost. I personly use it and suggest if anyone required my suggestion. Everything you want to add in your cover will easily available for you in it. Highly recommended!
