The interface looks daunting for beginners like me, but I'm excited to learn and fumble around with it.

This was a good little tutorial that introduces you to some of the basic features:

yeah hopefully it brings a new golden age of internet animation, but like everyone else at the moment is quite...interesting. check out onionskin youtube channel he's create for animation tuts.

When I I first read about this I was overjoyed. I would love to try this out but as I'm a 0 when it comes to animation so I have to wait until there are enough people with experience that upload tutorials.

THIS! The phenomenon that is One Punch man apparently owes some of it's success to web animators . The director decided to add them to his team and the result was spectacular. If this tool will encourage more people to take up 2 D animation and reinvigorate the animation industry (I'm really worried about 3D taking over frowning ) I'm all for it !

I downloaded it Saturday opened it stared at it and went back to drawing sequential 2d art. One day one day I will animate...

If somebody here already used TVpaint and then try this new software, I'd like to hear your impression on it.
I didn't download it yet but I'm very used to TVpaint and I'd like to know if there is a point to try to learn a whole new software.

I was so excited since I've been stressing about how I can afford tvpaint when I have to return to Finland (My home university computers don't have it). So I downloaded this as soon as I could. Haven't yet tried it out but I'll let you know @blop about the differences I may see.
