Newgrounds announced today in the near future it will allow for varying ways of putting multiple art pieces together onto one, perfect for webcomic uploading. Would you be interesting in venturing onto this new platform?

well newgrounds isn't exactly new it's been around for ages but these features will certainly open up more options for new content types (i.e webcomics in this instance) to migrate or mirror over there

while i do think at least one of my stories could be housed there it's personally not my kind of platform in a general sense but i imagine for folks who may want more freedom with mature works might see it as an opportunity to host their work without dealing with tapas/webtoons level restrictions since NG allows for more so long as the content is properly labeled (iirc)

that's like i'm pretty sure there were a host of folks with comics on NG in the early days but since i wasn't a part of that community much less an account holder i didn't really keep up so if anything this may just spark a bit of a renaissance if it hasn't been experiencing that already

Is their corporate horseshit more, or less, egregious than the corporate horsesshit at Webtoon and Tapas?

I don't know if I am ready to jump on the bandwagon yet.

But I wonder how this would effect creators who want to write NSFW comics. Those creators often feel like other platforms don't want them and I can see maybe them taking advantage of this option on NG. NG is old and still allows 18+ stuff.

I started with Flash MX animations on Newgrounds 20 years ago, so its like I'm going back home.
