I seem to have a trend of coming up with characters then slowly morphing them into entirely different characters.

Lady Lock had some very humble beginnings design wise lol but lowkey I always adored her even in the really derpy mspaint style I had her in at first.

Wow you improved so much too! How much time has passed between the first rendition?? I love his grumpy face so much I’ve had some characters for years and years, but Lady Lock is quite recent only over a year I think.

Okay so I dont have that many pictures from or maybe even drawings from back when I first started coming up with my characters and story but this here is probably the oldest drawing of Scamp I've done, and its a high school doodle!!

And this is one is my most recent drawing of him! Part of a sheet explaining why Scamp looks buff at 10 lol

Those are from 2012, but I have them since... uh, around 2010? before that my novel was a fanfic. 2020 I started Saudade with the idea of them. Also, it was one of my first atempts in making digital art. :3 And it wasnt exactly my oldest drawing of them, but it was made on paper and it's probably in an old folder somewhere xD

And here we have the redraw I made last month! I wish I knew the context of the originals so I could make it better.

It's always so nice to redraw stuff, right? Seeing the progress is so good to keep going and dont give up! :3 Even the redraws still have some errors, but I believe it's ok for now.

I changed Nate's expression because my interpretation was something like Matt apologizing and Nate being like "yeah, its ok :3" idk hahaha
