Many many moons ago before I heard of sites like InkBlazers or Tapastic, back when I was young and dumb and didn't know the first thing about presenting/advertisting your webcomic, I used deviantArt as my site of choice. Long story short, dA didn't work out for me personally in the long term. I wasn't getting the views I wanted nor was I getting subs even once in a grand while.
Nowadays, I advertise LoaA on either Instagram or Tumblr, but that's about it. Tapastic has been the best platform imo for putting my work out there AND having a solid chance of getting the recognition I want too. Making pennies in ad revenue has been the cherry on top. I've looked into other comic hosting sites like LINE Webtoons for example, but they either want you to be exclusive to them (at least you get paid a livable monthly wage over on LINE Webtoons if you are lucky enough to become "featured") or in the case of Comics Pop (which is in its beta), its run by a company who has a checkered past when it comes to creators rights. (Tokyo Pop in this case)
