I think Quip is seamless and has less distraction. I tried Evernote before but preferred Quip coz I can focus more on writing.

Google Docs cause usually when im ACTUALLY writing a story, im doing it with a friend or two

I didn't get to pick more than one option but I use google docs, grammarly, and sometime editminion.

I live in google docs because it auto saves, and it can use it on multiple devices.It's also easy to share and invite people in to view to document.

Grammarly is awesome. We don't always agree but it does help me catch the mistakes I tend to make.

Editminion will really break things down too.

So far I've been using Microsof Word because it's just what I'm used to from university. I've tried Google Docs as well on some extra free time projects but I don't like it as much since I feel like it's a bit more complicated to use than Word. Or I'm just not used to it yet.
I used to use Open Office/Libre Office before I got Word and it's alright too.

Grammarly is a godsend. I it really helps with punctuation errors that tend to sneak in.

I use google docs. I can access it anywhere, even on my phone. It's free and functions more or less like word. It's just a good solid system

Scrivener. It has everything. And its file backups can save to my Google Drive, although I also keep manuscript backups in Dashlane Premium.

Write or Die is the best for the first pass at first drafts, but... mostly Scrivener.

GOOGLE DOCS for SURE. You can write online, and it saves automatically. I cringe when people use apps, because if you forgot to save it, and it crashes, all of your hard work is gone.

I know someone who almost lost an entire book because they were using Microsoft word and it crashed...

Guessing the default notepad in my phone isn’t a ligit answer? XD I just like the natural paper look, some reason it helps me concentrate more- no idea why

I also use Pages when I’m not feeling lazy but that’s also not an option x3 sucks to be an apple user I guess

I mostly use MS Word, but before that I was insistent in using a program called AppleWorks. It was an Apple version of Office - they had a paint function too. When Office 06 came out our teachers made us switch over to it, but I remember stubbornly still writing essays in AppleWorks until seventh grade.

I've tried using Celtx, and didn't mind it but it's too logical. I find logic to be stifling when I'm trying to create. I stick to a good old sketchbook which goes everywhere with me.

Scrivener. I sometimes write stuff out of sync, and I use Scrivener to help me to piece it together.

I use google docs most of the time because of how it automatically syncs to my phone and computers, but I actually prefer to write in the shitty notepad app in MS10. It just keeps everything simple and helps me to not get distracted. I don't like to use anything "fancy" otherwise I spend ages playing around with fonts and formats instead of actually writing.

I mostly use scrivener. Its really a good program for writing.

The other program that I use is ywriter, microsoft word, one note(for note taking).

And of course, don't forget notebook! Notebook is one of the best tool. Have an idea, just jot them down in your notebook for future use

I have grown to hate scriptwriting. So much formatting, it breaks my flow.
