“But I can’t afford... father would never...” Maedra looked at her feet glumly.

“Consider it my gift to you.” The taller girl linked her arm to hers.

Conversation from episode 40 which is scheduled on the 27th

Long YinLian’s whole body became tense at Lin Xiao’s question. Then, he let out a heavy sigh before he leaned his back on the daybed. “Xiao-er, what kind of relationship do you think that we used to have?”

“Lovers?” Lin Xiao answered.

This is a great idea! (I broke the rules and posted more than two lines, oops)

“Who says she deserves respect?” Mariel grumbled.

“She's gotten under your skin already huh?” Yvonne chortled.

Nah, you didn't really break the rules.

2 lines of dialogue, and you can add your own comments too.

“Mother says that I should only receive compliments when I’ve done something of value. I don’t think arranging flowers is something of value…” Pollyanna answered.

“Who says it isn’t of value? It’s made us smile, hasn’t it? That’s worth something, isn’t it?” Father replied.

"Can't you see? He heard us. A human heard..."
"Nobody will believe him: a milksop is too small to take him seriously. Relax, that's not a big deal," she assured me in a maternal soft manner.

"Men have shed blood to get this position, and you don't want it?" He crossed his arms and inspected me closely.

"This will come as a great surprise, but I liked it a lot better when bards weren't climbing through my window to kill me," I said.

"Your Majesty, please, they just joined the academy. They aren't ready for a mission yet!" exclaimed Cinna.

"Shut up," growled Lae. "And cut the Your Majesty crap."

“What kind of entertainers are we supposed to be?” Iola whispered as she deftly side stepped a stumbling drunk.

“I am a knife-thrower and you are my lovely assistant.” Dacia’s ale stained grin didn’t do much to explain anything to Iola.

He watched as Hibiki struggled his way through a few words with trembling hands: 'I understand'
"I know…" his voice broke, but he didn't care. "I do too,- I understand you too, love."

“Maybe I like to learn. Might be an unknown concept for you but that’s what people do in schools.”
“Really? I though we come here for the shitty food.”

“I’ve never seen anyone be killed, so I’d rather not talk about it.” “Do you want me to help you forget?” he asked with a smirk.

I stared at him as I processed what he had just said. “I.. uh..umm,” I stuttered nervously. In a hushed whisper Matías said “Just say yes.”

“I did it to myself,” I lied. “I wanted to prove to Lolth that I was willing to draw my own blood in Her honor.”

G’eldarin narrowed his eyes, the blue gleaming in the dark. “You're lying, Lochar.”

Chapter 9

“We don’t need another bed,” he said. She paused for a second, “W-What do you mean by that?” she asked, taken aback by his sudden statement.

"How did you find the Threshold?"
"I didn't."
