OK
So first of all, you can set this up the morning of or up to 2 days in advance. If someone asks I'll explain the science. But for now....
Ok you will need 6 cups of water, 1/2 cup salt, and 1/4 cup honey. After that you can add what you like for flavor. My favorite combo is2 small limes (sliced and then I squish them over the bowl and then drop into the bowl), crushed garlic, sliced and hand crushed hot peppers. Put all of these in in a bowl big enough to hold twice that volume and risk it all together until pretty much dissolved. Put in chicken and put it into the fridge.
Whenever you go to grill this, set up a zone on the grill for indirect heat to put the chicken on. Make sure that grate are is brushed lightly with oil. It is a good idea to brush the chicken as well.
Now I don't think the chicken needs BBQ sauce, but if you insist, brush some on and cook at least 6 min per side. You may need to do 10 minutes for thicker pieces, check on line for recommended times for the pieces you are doing. Once it's cooked through move to direct heat and do each side for about 1 to 2 mins per side to make them crispy (brush with a touch more sauce at this stage if you feel it's needed)
then eat and enjoy!
