Post first three episodes together or seperately?

We all know the tendency and strategy of posting first 3 episodes at the same time when starting a WEBTOON, but is it really necessary, should you burn yourself out on making 3 entire episodes just to post them all at the same time? Or should u just start with a posting schedule, the first episode alone then the next week the second and so on? Thoughts?

It depends on how long your episode are.

Also it is also good to have a decent size buffer before posting your first episode.

Also, it might be best to just put all your reboot questions in one thread.

It probably depends. But more than one episode allows readers to see if they like your story.

Also, you don't need to necessary burn yourself out making additional episodes. You don't need to make these episodes in a time you would normally do one. Just take your time with the reboot.

I started with posting the first three chapters separately and I found that I got a fair amount of traction at the beginning (about 40 subs per update, each update a month apart). I don't have another instance to compare it too and technically it's possible that I would have gotten even more traction had I waited to release the first three chapters together, so take my personal experience with a grain of salt.

Of course there's other variables to take into account as well. Does the first chapter as a standalone do a good enough job at interesting the reader? Is there even enough content in the first chapter to release it by itself? Can you afford to release three chapters all at once? There isn't really a hard yes or no answer to your question, so probably just do what you're most comfortable with.

Separately for sure, space them apart the same amount of time it takes to make 1 chapter. Unless you don't need a buffer, then do whatever you want.
