Not a comic but a novel... Trying to still work out the details of the actual story so I don't go in blind.. Mainly it's about this .... let's call him an alien... that falls to the planet from the sky and he's hit by the planet's plague (cause duh no immunity sort of) and some other stuff.. and he... has... magical electrical life sort of powers. Sort of. Hard to explain. ^^;;

Haha! Good spot! That sort of 90s anime and RPG fantasy aesthetic of stuff like Slayers was a big influence on the design. I always loved how Lina Inverse is this tiny character who has a big costume with this huge cloak and big shoulderpads and a theatrical look to make herself look bigger and more impressive. I wanted that kind of energy for Beansprout (and also I just adore that aesthetic).
Her colours I think were going to be something like black, white and gold? Sort of evoking Dark Knight Cecil from Final Fantasy IV.

I really want to make a morbid, but playful four panel daily comic about these ghost kids. I don't have enough time to think of more ideas for what they would do in the comic.

I also showed off some characters for a magical girl story a little while ago here with a description:

It would be a huge endeavor and I just don't have time for it, but here's some art anyway.

hhhhh absolutely my case every few days.

I have an idea for a comic set as a distant DISTANT sequel from Splitting Image, tentatively called Truth Be Told, in a different country but affected by the events and using the magic system. By default, I can't start it, but I constantly catch myself making scenes, characters, everything, and I hope I don't do something stupid until I'm at least doing multiple pages a week for SI.

The story is a nymph on her last year of magic university. Inex isn't doing badly, but everyone is concerned by how aloof she is and how she doesn't seem to have any objectives in life other than ticking the list of Adult Things To Do. But when her only friend is taken over by something that summons a giant obsidian egg on campus, she ends up meeting up with other classmates from her Demonology class and discover a mysterious split transforming artifact, that can reveal the egg's secret if put back together. It would have magical girl inspirations with a ton of modern subversions and generally using adults rather than teens, and some extra things about each character to tie in with the theme of hidden truths.

This is also relevant to no one here, but it's also the first attempt to put an old OC of mine into a story finally. I tried tons of things with her, that blue dragon, and this is the first one where I can say 'yes, she'll play off the cast and setting perfectly'. But maybe in a few years.

Havent started visuals for the project I "cant start" yet. Going to start working on visuals as soon as the arm issues die down...I made the logo for it, and a lot of the "making visuals" process is generally me updating some old OCs from when I last drew them- which was in the early-mid 90s.

I have some concept art for a manga I’ll be doing later this year, hopefully. But at the moment it’s distracting me from finishing my novel. So I’m taking small amounts of time throughout my weeks to at least get concepts down. So I’m working on it in the background while my novel gets completed.
The guy below is a villain - an uncle to the main character. His first sketch looked WAY different, but I’m liking the direction I’m going with him.

Most of my backburner projects I don't have a lot of recent art for sadly.

I have an ancient Egyptian based fantasy setting that a friend and I started designing back in high school. I was working on an RPG Maker game set in that for a while but eventually got burned out on it. I'd like to do something with the setting some day, whether that be actually completing the game or making something comic-based instead.

I also had a story I was writing for a while based around a changeling character I played in a DnD campaign (I'm predictable, I know lol) that I'd like to come back to some day when I'm up for the more detailed writing needed for the novel format.

I used Inktober (and the period right beforehand) a few months ago as an excuse to practice and get used to some of the new characters that will be showing up in TH!! Season 2. So they're not super far into the future, but I can't get back to scripting right away. In the middle of a large commission currently, and another side project may or may not pop up in a week here... so until then, ta-da~

None of these have much of anything to do with the plot since I was just following the prompts for most of them, but they were a lot of fun to do!

Until I finish my big current comic I will not not start drawing this one. Simply because I want my art style to improve before I start this project. Which is essentially a hard reboot of a 3 chapter comic I made in high school. I have currently scripted 17 chapters out of 42 so I still have a long way to go
Its a paranormal mystery about the strange behavior and disappearances in a small town all involving the strange localized static on the tv.

Project "Weolcan/Among Beasts" is something I've been on and off developing for the past 5 years. It's gone through so many changes, and I'm hoping to either make it a short film or a webcomic after I finish the current project I'm working on.

It's a more serious story which explores the ways we deal with guilt and how things that happened to us in the past effect the way we make decisions in the present. Set in a fantasy world which turns everyone into monsters. Here's an old concept drawing of the main characters!

I've been wanting to do a magical girl web comic with rainbow themed characters. Their outfits and powers are loosly based on their talents/careers/etc. If I get the story, characters, and script all mapped out and I get better at time management

I also plan on making a prequel spin-off comic for my main series whenever that gets finished.

I have been doing some concept art of my sona and other characters for color practice since with my current webcomic, it's in black and white manga style. In the future when I'm set for my next project, it'll be in color since my character cast is pretty vibrant

I'm currently working on a write up and I won't say it be very lengthy. It may go with a more anthology approach, but who knows lol

It's technically about a spirit who dislikes the ways of being a tengu, so he aims to get his own temple to live his own life but his Headmaster says otherwise. Of course along the way, he meets mortals and other spirits along his venture who try to help him reach his goal.

I would say the message I'm going for is do what makes you happy, don't let others control you sort of thing.. etc etc

I'm not sure for genre, I was thinking more of slice of life..? Or drama. idk XD I'm still figuring out, in the meanwhile, it's just a fun side project to do lol

I really don't have cool concept art like most people would for my upcoming project. I kind of wanna do it by the edge of my seat since Oasis is SOOOO demanding on edits and re edits and world building and reworking the magic system.

Not only that but the next comic is already based on a table top so I feel silly putting a bunch of work into an already existing IP that I cant go anywhere with. Its def supposed to be a "doing it for the fun of it." kind of comic.

The biggest problem is that i have no idea what I wanna do with it because I have a solid idea of the characters and the arcs they're supposed to go through but i have no like... plot as a driving point/base to work with. So i end up just doing a bunch of random comic while i wait for the inspiration to hit.

I don't even know what genre it would be cause the fantasy aspect is very low and altho there is a LOT of flirting and sexy talk between the characters they never "get together" as much as they just become friends. One is a incubus who is just trying to get through life eating peoples essence and the other is a hunter who... you know hunts supernatuals but hes also a scientist so he tends to try to talk to the monsters instead of murder them.

I have SOME art but due to the fact the one is a incubus im sure you understand why i might not be able to post some scenes ive sketched out VuV

Man, I have so many. The primary ones are Scratch, Pie Girl, and Kolev The Bear.

Scratch is a dense psycho-philosophical study that's probably going to take years to write, but I intend for it to be a graphic novel. Pie Girl is almost the opposite end of the spectrum--it's just some wild fun. That one's about a lesbian pastry chef who enters a death race with a bunch of other crazy themed food truck vendors. Kind of like Mad Max meets Twisted Metal meets Fooly Cooly. Then there's Kolev, which is another more cerebral story about a stuffed bear roaming a world of miserable humans on full display as he searches for his creator and hopes to God that his maker isn't human.
