"I miss the moon. Don’t you guys have any natural satellites here?"

“It’s alright.” He whispered. “I’ve got you.”

Quickly, I used my hands to secure my grip on my drunken neighbor before I said goodbye to Des and started for the door.

“Kill them all.” She heard a rich voice yell in her own native tongue. “Spare not one.”

A black ocean of stars stretched overhead, swallowing up the entire Earth, expanding so much that there was nothing else the eyes would see, except for a heavenly canvas dotted with the myriads of flickering beads.
