Once again, I think what you did is excellent so it's not really an "issue".

Could be a matter of personal tastes not lining up with technique, are you seeing it as a hard noir style effect or something that should blend smoothly into the natural tones?

New banner for my comic! And it took me FOREVER. I was up until 2am and it looks like like a 4 year old made it. I'm never going to get used to Clip Studio. But I keep trying!
Now to work on something much less a waste of my time! Redrawing old pages! .... oh wait.
