While lying in bed at the cottage, which is undergoing renovations, I noticed that a patch of plaster on the wall looked like an eager puppy bugging a not-so-eager cat. So I drew the puppy and the cat. Meet Layla and Murph:
Layla is based on my dog Layla but when she was a puppy. She is a cane-corso/shepherd mix, hence the "brindle" colouring.
Murph is based on my cat Murphy, who passed away at the age of 20 years in 2019.
