Day one, I didn't do the ring prompt cause I wanted more to just introduce the character that's going to be in all of the following inktober drawings.
I'll be focusing on a series of fantasy illustrations involving a world inspired by Japan's "Floating World" of the Edo Period. I created a section on Tapas to host the whole series.

The faithful of Dauntina attend services every week, and each week they offer at least one drop of their blood. Gratitude.
I've started with working on my character's outfits. And tried to remember how to draw traditionally XD
I'm attempting inktober for once. Might not get very far, so we'll see. I'll be posting it on my instagram
I'm tackling a bunch of old sketches I have laying around for inktober this year, when/if I have time.
Most will just be inked, but I felt this one needed a bit of color.

I'm finally doing something with my old holiday photos, here's the Himeji Garden in Adelaide. They're all on my twitter here so far! I'm also trying to get througha stack of very old cold press watercolour paper, so it's all dip pens and rough paper this month.

This year I'm following the official prompt list, but also using it as a way to force myself to do some concept art and familiarize myself with the cast from the future Season 2 of my comic lol. Since I've mostly just been thinking/writing the story but not actually doing any drawings for it...
