Classic Fantasy: so here's the thing: I love super hero comics, the aesthetics. Reading comics with strong artwork, and seeing how the artist draws the dynamic poses with characters at the absolute peak of human physique is the best part of the experience for me (as I often don't enjoy the writing of most big time super hero comics, specially these days). So I wanted to create a comic with some outrageous aesthetics so I could draw the things I like. And to top it off, I love fantasy, action, adventure, and I love drawing and seeing attractive characters (wether I myself am attracted to them or not, it doesn't really matter).
This comic as all about the aesthetics, however, I'm a fucking pessimist, and overthink everything, so it is bound to develop some conspirational, almost nihilistic plot sooner or later (probably sooner).
The Ghoul: as some people seem to have noticed, The Ghoul is almost a filler story in a setting I've been concocting since forever. It is an abitious thing that I've learned through failure was and is beyond my capacity to create (at the moment, that is), so I've made a smaller, self cointained story that introduces some aspects of the setting, but isn't dependant on lore. As I am a very visual person, I've tried to tell as much of the story through visuals as I possibly could, but due to it's limited size, I could only do so much.
It's grim dark fantasy, with some graphic moments of gore, a sex scene and even some (light) racism. Suffice to say, it's very much mature rated, and not something for everyone. As I think horror is ought to be.
