I want to publish the one-shot comic I am currently working on while taking full advantage of the algorithm Tapas uses. Since it is a one-shot (around 75 pages) and not an ongoing series, should I post it all at once or in chunks for maximum visibility? Is there any advantage/disadvantage of doing either way?

Most artists I've seen have separated one-shot comics into about 10-15 chunks

One Page a week should be fine. Advantage: you'd have more visibility. Disadvantage: viewership may be slow.

one piece of advice that's constantly shared is to spread out updates since you'll get better visibility by being in the fresh section a bit more often.

Things to note however:

  • you're not guaranteed subscribers so regardless of content quality there's no telling exactly how many will view, like or subcribe to your series; the most you can do is share it and hope for the best
  • there's no prefect upload schedule but some that tend to be effective are weekly or bi-weekly updates (being once or twice a week or every other week)
  • consider the pacing of your story i consider this to be a bit of a big one because there are cases where a part of the story may be fast paced in "real time" but because uploads may be spread out it feels like its taking a lot longer so make sure to pay attention to how your upload schedule affects the pacing of the story

i'll reiterate that personally i don't think there's a perfect recipie to get visibility but with a little trial and error i think it's possible to find something that works for your work specifically. best of luck

Since you have the whole thing finished, I agree with the chunking plan! Something like an average of 5 pages (base the actual number on the flow of the story), twice a week. They will probably be the best if both worlds where you're getting things out into fresh without annoying people with daily updates. And posting enough content to make things feel well based and captivating.

Success will vary depending on genre, talent, trending, luck, etc, too, so don't get too hung up on numbers.

Good luck! It's always a great sign of commitment when someone is able to plan and finish a story!
