OMG your friend’s drawings are so good! I could never have that much patient when it comes to hyper realism art.
Yeah, they are amazing I'm lucky to have such talented friends (and even more, but other don't draw realism so it's not part of this topic )
I tried doing more realistic arts of my OCs, just not OCs from my current series. It was quite interesting to try and would be nice to practice more in the future.

You should try drawing at least 1 original character realistically! It was challenging for me; but it made me think critically in 3-D space and form. Such a great experience! ️

Also, now that I think about it, there was a "more realstic" drawing of my characters made by someone on the forums a while back, so I'll share that was well.
I'm working on a cover right now that's a bit more realistic than usual. I'm not even done with the story though, lol.
Not "realistic" per se, just uses a better rendering.

I generally don't like to draw my comic characters realistically just because... I dunno, I feel like it would make it harder for me to draw them later if I had their "real" appearance in the back of my head. The only exception is this guy:

I love semi-realistic art, I've tried to draw it, but I admit I have a lot to improve...
Welll I've been exploring designs for what one of my characters looked like in the past, and I've got some sketches with realistic proportions mixed in there!
There was one I did years ago for Crow but it's not the best.
I did do some Artbreeder images but they are a little creepy and uncanny...Ken
