@TACOBERTO Hello! I read through Light and Dark, here are my thoughts:
I think you've done a good job creating a complex, rich world with interesting, diverse characters. Right from the beginning, you get the sense that there is a lot going on in this world. It feels chaotic and unstable, like there are a whole lot of layers to what is happening. It's definitely an exciting setting that intrigues and invites readers to dig into.
On the other hand, something to think about: the in medias red intro is a good way to throw readers right into the middle of things, but it was a little confusing with all the jumping around in the timeline. First we're on a bus, then there's a fight, then suddenly we're back in the past, then we jump back to the conclusion of the fight. Fight scenes give a story a lot of energy, and interrupting the fight and cutting to 2 chapters of exposition really undermines that energy. I don't think your narrative would suffer if you cut out the exposition chapters and saved them for later.
One other thing I noticed was that it was difficult to differentiate/follow the narration, the radio, and all the characters' conversation/thoughts. I also didn't understand why Amy was having two conversations with herself in chapter 1 (one out loud and one in her head). We learn a lot about her personality based on her "out loud" conversation, and it's a pretty clever way to introduce her character. I thought that was a pretty innovative choice! The "private" thought process about the address/map, on the other hand, doesn't really add much to the story. I also liked all the different languages used, though at times the translation was a little distracting. I think as you keep working on L&D, you'll find a way to balance it out on the page that feels natural.
I thought the anatomy and clothing was pretty well done, too. It felt believable and suited to each character (from what we know of them so far).
Anywho. I think you've got an interesting concept and are off to a good start. Keep up the good work! ^w^
here's my comic: Reus. There's quite a lot of pages, many of which I drew over a year ago, so if you prefer to focus your critique on the more recent episodes, that is a-okay with me ^.^
