Do y'all rewatch movies and/or TV shows?

When I'm either stressing out or vegging out, sometimes I watch the same movie/show over and over. There's something reassuring about knowing what's going to happen (and, in some scenarios, still wishing for a different outcome other than the one I know I'll witness). I also enjoy mentally collecting the details of scenes/finding Easter eggs/noticing the actors' micro expressions/theorizing hypothetical dialogue and action for them to undertake. My hyperfocus and in-depth analysis has increased my ability to write scenes from my books cinematically, so to speak.

A few of my faves:

Go-to bingeable series: Netflix's Young Royals (BL, royal MC who isn't a d*ck). The leads' chemistry is fire, their push-pull angst is my jam, and their tantalizing romance is not too gushy. NGL I've memorized many of the lines even though they're in Swedish lol. Also: Queer as Folk (US version, don't even try to tell me the UK version is better), Hannibal (NBC's adaptation ended too soon but I'm satisfied with the conclusion), Game of Thrones (I got into it late and I still think the books are superior, but I'm now I'm all the way in and I can't free myself) and Breaking Bad (gotta start it from the beginning though, can't just jump into the middle of an epic character arch like that.)
Go-to horror flick: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the remake starring Jessica Biel, who is so hot and so fierce); May (a low-budget horror gem from early 2000s featuring indie acting queen Angela Bettis in an unforgettable performance); The Descent (gory and bleak, weaves themes of friendship betrayal with creature terror and claustrophobic despair).
Go-to classic film: A Place in the Sun (achingly tragic), A Streetcar Named Desire (acting chops to be spared), Roman Holiday (bittersweetly romantic), Peyton Place (tawdry guilty pleasure), The Bad Seed (rollicking OTT black comedy), Arsenic and Old Lace (just plain fun), most Hitchcock, particularly Vertigo and/or The Birds (suspenseful and atmospheric).

Please list your comfort films and TV shows below!

I reread webcomics mainly, like I can't say I've ever done that to a TV show or a book.

Oh I've def re-read books before! I actually didn't start reading comics until a few months ago. It's been a revelatory experience. My "gateway drug" was My Friend Dahmer by Derf Backderf. Now I've moved on to webcomics and I'm pretty into this style of storytelling. When I was younger I couldn't handle deciphering the little dialogue clouds and matching the words with their speakers (sensory overload, cognitive malfunction); but generally speaking, webcomics are easier on the eye and I'm glad I gave this book form another shot.

I watched breaking bad twice and I´ll probably watch it again soon, there are a lot of scenes
I´m looking forward to. I will also watch you better call saul again

Yes! Better Call Saul is so underrated. I loved that show and watched the last season in real time (though BB remains my ultimate fave between the two). Pretty brilliant stuff.
