Hey, cool! A topic for all the people who love love
I'm a romance author and I've even studied romance as an academic topic.
Currently I'm writing two romance stories on Tapas, Her Elysium and The Other Dress, they're both LGBT stories and they both deal with neurodiverse characters.
Her Elysium is about two gamer girls who fall in love and they both have ADHD, one of the girls is a lesbian and the other is falling in love with a girl for the first time. There are loads of gaming references in it.
The Other Dress is about a trans girl and a crossdressing guy who meet at a convention when they're cosplaying two characters who are best friends in an anime and they kind of fall in love even though they both kind of try not to. This story also deals with autism, depression and loads of anime references (though it will be a happy story and have a good ending, it's just not always a happy-go-lucky story).
I'm both autistic and ADHD myself (ADHD-Inattentive), I'm also pansexual and agender/andro (and a huge gamer and fan of Anime and Japanese and Korean music). So lots of things come from my own life. The stories also take place in the Netherlands, where I'm from.
Anything I don't know I either research or ask friends who are more knowledgeable about the topic.
