Okay so mine's a bit out there to say the least, especially since my predominant genre is horror. This is definitely going to be a roller coaster so strap in, I guess. 
The main romance in the comic is between an alien Dog-Ferret hybrid and an alien Fox-Raccoon hybrid. (And that's honestly not even the weirdest part.)
The Dog-Ferret, a drunken vegan who lives in the literal wilderness, is on a search-and-rescue mission with his daughter (a fire-breathing human) to find his missing queen. The Fox-Raccoon hybrid, on the other hand, is an obligate carnivore and a very classy little lady who resides in a castle. And uh, she's the one who kidnapped the queen? So she decides that she's gonna join the aforementioned search-and-rescue party to gain insight and also sabotage their search. But she accidentally falls head over heels for the Dog-Ferret in the process.
And since she's a cannibal who feasts on unsuspecting males of her kind, she really can't decide whether she wants to love him or eat him. And now the Dog-Ferret has also fallen in love with her because she subconsciously reminds him of his deceased partner.
There's a lot of other crazy stuff going on there, too, like the fact that the Fox-Raccoon's uncle murdered the Dog-Ferret's father, or the fact that the Dog-Ferret's queen murdered the Fox-Raccoon's father. But enough of that, I've rambled enough. Have some cute doodles:
