Series Made of Random Comic Strips?

I recently started making these 4-panel black and white comic strips. They are really easy to do and I can probably keep up a daily schedule since I can make as much as a week's worth in a matter of hours.

I was thinking of posting them as a series.

The thing is, they are totally disconnected; no recurring characters, no ongoing narrative.

Even their genres vary. The first one I made was horror, then I made a superhero one, then I made an NSFW romance one. I haven't come up with a funny one just yet but I plan on it.

But mainly it's just whatever pops in my head.

Would anyone be interested in subscribing to a series like that? Is it even allowed?

No, seriously though, why wouldn't it be allowed? You made it, it's not porn, you're having fun... What else do you need? Shower us in comic strips, bro.

They sound interesting, because they're made of tiny stories - a bit like an anthology of short stories. It's pretty neat, you should go forward with it.

I asked a similar, but different question about posting short, unrelated comics on my main series between legit installments and hiatuses and was told that wasn't allowed.

I figure an entire series made of unrelated comics might straddle the same line.

There are comics that dont rely on the same cast of characters. You may find some anthologies here.

I know, for example, Silent Horror doesn't have a recurring cast, but it does have a recurring theme.

If this goes the way I imagine it, there will be no recurring theme. Just whatever I thought up that day. Haven't seen anything like that.

Do you feel like there is not enough of each genre for them to be their own series? Like maybe put the horror ones in it's own series and the romance ones in a different series.

I don't think having a varied series is too weird, seeing how a lot of gag-a-day comics are set up that way.

I've got a similar thing with my comic, but it's almost entirely comedy.
You don't need some overarching narrative to be appealing, just do what you want to do.

No one said you were not allowed, people said they would possibly be confused or disappointed by seeing an entirely different comic

The same is here. It's hard to say whether people would be interested in a comic with completely different topics, especially since one author may be great at horror and bad in comedy, and then there's suddenly nsfw romance. But this goes for all the comics - you never know if someone would be interested. No one forbids you to try new things though​

I'm not as worried about whether or not anyone would like it as I am the best way to execute it. Like what genre would it be posted under?

Well, we’ve got multi-genre coming soon but I doubt you could do all of them.

So the best bet is probably Fantasy, and then put the genre of each one in the tag for that chapter.
