I can't be the only one who gets excited when I've written a super cool paragraph or made a cool drawing, so show a panel/paragraph you are proud of here!

As for myself, to start off with, I really like this paragraph, because of the way it flows:

In complete frustration I stood up from the chair. I could not concentrate like this. I needed to kick, I needed to punch, I needed to fight, I needed to move. With a powerful kick, I did an assemblé, moving immediately into a leap. My movements were raw and rough; powerful, but messy and uncontrolled. Without having done a proper warming up, my muscles cried in a way my eyes no longer could. It was a burning, punishing sensation and it felt addictingly good.

Sandra pulled the earbuds out and hurriedly stuffed it in the pocket of her shorts. Her wide doe eyes flitted from left to right. The beautiful scenery before her morphed into an evil and menacing prison. The shimmering red of the sunset flashed like a warning sign. The tall trees that lined both sides of the road boxed her in. She wanted to run - run as fast as she could - but her legs refused to budge.

The fence shook as an undead man flung himself onto it, his fingers reaching out to grab her. Shocked, she released her grip and the barbed wire bounced back into place. As she hurriedly backed away from the growling undead, a cut on her wrist caused her to hiss in pain.

With no time to lose, she unslung her rifle, aimed it and- click.

The base was thicker than the rest of the circumference. It tapered gracefully to the spout. And on its surface was the stylized image of a tall, long-haired woman standing with more than perfect posture, leaning on a staff, and with her long hair blowing in the wind.

-I'm not even sure why I like this paragraph. I guess it seems to have a nice flow. Writing flow is something I am always trying to improve.

The sky was clear and I could see light spots forming drawing after drawing. The stars. They were said to represent every living being. That’s why every night, hundreds would fall. People were dying every second. It was a reminder for all of us. Death was always there. Always close, always watching. Always lurking where we would expect the least. Always waiting.

Was this why humans chose to sleep in the night? Because they couldn’t bear the truth?

No, really, good job, auntie. When men dismissed Bryn as my whore, the old lady with her inane attention to details didn’t lose track of her. And now I have to fix the mess.

A deep breath in... I can fix it.

I scoop the pictures back into the envelope, surprising myself with a sheepish grin. I will see Bryn again, will have to. She would tell me that I am looking for any excuse… but it’s a good one, baby. A really good one.

Can’t let that pretty butt warm a snake’s bed.
