Here are 2 drawings I’ve made for my comic, the first one when I just started more than 7 months ago and the second one I drew recently! I think I improved quite a bit, but also still have a long way to go. Now I want to focus on drawing more interesting perspectives!

I can actually do apples to apples here, because I went back and redid some of my early stuff:

Here's an early one I haven't yet redone. This was my first drawing with a hint of shading (the sunburns) but it shows how simple my style was. I simply didn't know how to use the art program and was still drawing as though I was using MS Paint. Note the lack of detail in the background.

EDIT: I have since redone this image. Here is the new one:

And here's a (much) later scene, from my other story. I rather think my style has improved a lot. Much more detail in the main scene, and a metric shit ton more detail in the background.

There's been a massive improvement between the 1st panel of Chapter 01 and the last panel of Chapter 02.

Quite a lot of it in my case I don’t want to have a senior I want to the character to end up and then I get to that and then Panic I can actually start planning However, I still feel like I haven’t done enough on the main story beats to try and get it out and comprehensive however I do you have about 80 pages already completed. I’m just sharing them on a weekly basis so that way and it gives me time to keep the supplier for like a bit of time then in comics pages of my audience gets but it also allows me to freeze. Well I figure out what to do next, but I do you know where roughly I want the story to end

Both PAGES are censored for the public forum.
First page was from 2020. I was still learning Clip Studio Paint's softtware, its assets, brushes, sfx brushes, creating my own environments, etc.
Second page was from 2022. The screaming shadow is just a dark shadow energy. Its not a living person. Wanted to note that for censorship reasons.
It is still ongoing - monthly. I just wanted to show one of the characters changes. I'm still tweeking his body size a bit. Like his body build. Been practicing with more concept art. So that will come out the next time hes in it.

I think just by comparing the thumbnail of the second chapter and the thirteenth, featuring the same character, you can see a remarkable improvement!

I wrote a story in poetry form, so from those, I think I improved in laying out my thoughts better, and putting the feelings and emotions to words. However, I think I need to improve more on describing actions despite being limited in the structure of poetry :))

Chasing Grief is a story in poetry form about a woman who lost her love and so she tries to navigate her feelings of loss and grief. For this, she travels through life, death, and everything in between to find answers to her questions. This story is full of imagery, emotions, and feelings so if you are up for it, go give it a try!! :))

So like mine started out as a joke but then I ended up liking it too much and now there's a whole outline I wrote for it and the art is slightly more serious, but of course fun. It's just a wacky little adventure, for lovely little weirdos to enjoy <3
