Hi all,

I just finished one of the hardest panels I ever did.
I knew it was coming and dreaded this, but after 3 days, I finished!
I'm not sure about the perspective but all in all I'm pretty happy about it.
(fell free to comment on it)

What's the most challenging panel you've ever made?

This looks really cool. So many details and characters to look at. This is probably one of those panels I would look at for five minutes seeing if I can find some Easter egg haha. Good job!

My most challenging panels are almost always backgrounds.

I can't really decide which one of those was more challenging. But I think the first one was the most challenging for my painting program as it crashed countless times and the file itself doesn't even open any more T.T

Well, and the second one was just a crazy amount of work because of all the details.

There are certainly more panels that have been more demanding in terms of fine detail but this panel took more than a day to figure out the lighting and shading. It never looked quite right and kept having to be redone with maddeningly small tweaks being made to dozens of layers

@ramiek - your hardwork paid off! The detail is fantastic and gives a lot of energy to the party atmosphere. Well done!

those are amazing! I love your choices of colors and the perspective! so good!
I appreciate an artist that can make perspective looks good

Thank you
I love that page. I can actually feel the heat and see movement of the air from the blast!
very intense.

I've had a lot of tricky panels - wide establishing shots and crazy angles...
Recently I found this one pretty challenging. There's a fair amount of detail and the angle makes for a very extreme high shot. The lighting is pretty moody too and it took a while to get it looking the way I wanted. I think I did pretty well even if I don't get to draw high angles very often. Even Jason's face looks okay. I love drawing spaghetti, much to the confusion of everyone else who seems to hate it :^)

Here's a couple of panels from previous chapters that were a fun challenge too - mostly very nice environments with lots of stuff in them.

it may not look like much but this one was a pain in the ass to make. especially after having to completely redo it after the original file glitched

I write my comic, so I asked my partner what was the most challenging for him.
He pointed to this one:

It's one of the last ones he did. It's not even released yet, actually.
He said it was hard because: 1) He hates backgrounds and for the first time it was one he couldn't get references; 2) He couldn't draw normal people as extras and he didn't do any designs beforehand; 3) Perspective is a tricky thing; 4) New setting for the first time, basically.
I strive to complicate his life even further soon.

@Velome It might be considered a failure, looks super sick though

Uh, I have a lot of panels that test my mental sanity, because I like being detailed XD
But the last page I draw it was challenging for the pose.

For me is this one, I never done a panel involving more than 3 character...add to it the school setting and it was a nightmare to do O_O

Is for my relaunch comic so I haven't use it yet!
