Fff thank you so much! :'D The campaign was on Ulule, and while it's over now I plan of trying to set up a shop on my main site at some point... once I stop being lazy about coding one in. Lol

Thanks!! Webgames can be really fun to make, but I'm not a good coder and can often feel stuck & frustrated (for months) Polishing & debugging stage suck the joy out of me. Webcomic is much more my alley I can come out updates per month and feel progressive.

Not fun writing, but I did recently write a 40 page paper in a week which my professor wants to use as an example for future semester students. I laughed so hard, because I literally did not even care about that project. Last time I did a project like this, I put blood, sweat, and tears into every page. This time, I thought, “What do I need to write in order to graduate?” and “What does my professor want to hear?” :joy:

Ok, actually what I’m still high off is finishing The Rule of Three, my first novel on Tapas, a few weeks back. 125,000 words. I’m still giddy thinking about it. :two_hearts:

Why is it always the art you half-ass that gets all the likes, the papers you phone in that the teacher loves, and the classes you hate that you ace the test on so hard you throw off the grading curve? (I did that in my college philosophy class. Hated it so much that I CRUSHED the test and couldn't tell if I was mad about it or not.)

Also good job-- writing 40 pages of anything in a week ain't easy!

I'm closing in to a full year of serialization and I've reached waaaaay bigger goals than I ever expected.

Currently I stand at:

  • 65 Chapters
  • 6.9k views (Nice)
  • 564 Subscribers

I have a consistent audience of around 40 readers, which is way more than the 5 readers I thought I might get if lucky.

I'm closing in to 100k words written and I have been able to keep posting almost every week except for two times that I got stopped for medical reasons, so I'm proud of being able to keep up writing.

Last month I even received the first piece of fanart ever done for one my works that was done by somebody I don't know. Which was, not lying, one of the high points of my year so far

[Said awesome fanart drawn by @iHateFridays]

I was spotlighted twice in the front page (Which really helped my numbers)

But the most important thing is having people telling me they enjoy my novel or saying that I was an inspiration for them. That's the biggest win in my book since I started.

I still have a very long way to go, this story is barely starting and I might have years ahead of me until it finishes, but every comment I get fuels me to keep working on it.

My target goals for this year are rounding up my numbers, going to 10.000 views, 1000 Subs and 1000 likes, I also wish to find time to work on another novel, or maybe find the funding to hire an artist to adapt Centris into a comic-book, as I really enjoy writing comic-book scripts.

I'm drawing chapter 5! I thought I'd chicken out of this, but here I am. :tapa_pop:

I have over 500 followers on Instagram, I have 25 followers on Twitter, I have 35 followers on YouTube, I have 7 followers on TikTok, 4 watchers on Deviantart, 82 subscribers on my third month, 2.6k views, 259 likes on Tapas, while I have 60 subscribers and 1,066 views on webtoons.

Just released my tenth episode.

Eyyy, Jade Kingdoms will finally hit her 100k word count soon! I'm extremely proud of where I am right now, I have a powerful community around me, that appreciate and uplift my work and enjoy seeing where my process is going. But personally, I love how my art is improving. I've always been a writer at heart, so seeing me being able to make art the way I do now and be able to make comics, wow. I'm happy y'all. :green_heart:

@Breezy 40 ... page ... paper ... please no. IN A WEEK? That's like, almost, 15k words (if we are not doing double spaced). But, still, that is ridiculous and both amazing. Also remind me to never take whatever class you're taking right now. I have had some tough papers to write for professors, but 40 pages? Nope, no thanks. Nevertheless, amazing job! Also, 125k word novel being finished is also amazing! Proud of you!

@Kuma ahhh, that's so amazing! 100k words is absolutely fantastic, and having those set of 40 constant readers is so lovely. iHateFridays (don't want to unnecessarily ping thing them) has been an amazing reader for me and has always hyped me up. It seems that you're on track for getting your goals, so proud!

@GingerLoge Chapter 5! You go!! That's a lot of drawing, let's go!

@DelythThomasArt YES! We live for planning ahead! I'll be for sure ready to read them!

@powerplantanimations Aw yess, love your webcomic. It's very entertaining, and I lie the premise. Good job, also on the other sites. You're doing amazing!

@surenlicious Another 100k word count! Let's go!! I remember hitting 100k on my first novel, and it was legit amazing and I felt so awesome. Knowing that you've put so much effort into your novel + the illustrations, so awesome!

Aaaaah what a wonderful accomplishment for you too! I hope you can achieve so much more in life, its inspiring to see! :sparkling_heart:

Hiya! Last week I've finished my project Annie's Solutions after 65 episodes!

I'm quite happy and sad at the same time about it, if you want to have a look, here's the links:

It was a while back but it still makes me smile, it was reaching 7th trending for free to read novels one day.

Congratulations on all of these accomplishments! :tada: I’m so happy for everyone in this thread!

Episode 25 of my main project is still in-progress after a month, but I’m a few panels and finishing touches away from completing it! I’ll also have another WIP for it to share soon with more renders to show off, but I posted a new story and illustrations for a spin-off! It can be viewed here: https://synergyeclipse30.neocities.org/90s_Resort/travel_logs.html#log%204

I have an achievement this time!

My new novel, Thief of Bones, has officially hit 25k words which is roughly 1/4 of the way through the novel (maybe a little more than that). Most my sporadic WIP novels hit 10k before I fizzle out and lose my interest, but I can sense this one is going really well. It doesn't feel rushed at all either.
