Idk about you but I end up scoring my stories a lot as if they were TV shows so sounddtracks are a must.

I don't have songs for specific characters (that's a great idea though, gonna try it!!) but I do listen to specific music for specific types of scenes~

I'm currently drawing a horror/thriller, so for the exciting scenes I listen to upbeat fast-paced songs to get me pumped, and for dramatic scenes I listen to moody/angsty/sad songs, and for romance scenes I listen to emotional/romantic songs, etc etc.

I don't have character playlists really, but I do have an Errant playlist, which since she's the main character leans mainly in a Rekki kind of direction. Lots of energised guitar music, cheesy shounen anime openings and strong feelings.
