My manga is called Model Student!~^^

I have been seriously making manga about 6 years ago and mostly made action/fantasy work. But this time I tried out romance for a change!~xD lol I've always wrote stories and mini comics since I was very young and showed them to friends mostly. So part of me always love making comics/stories that people would enjoy. It mostly started out with me wanting to become an author at first but after many years of drawing anime and stuff I decided to try out making manga of my own.

My comic is called Aetherwing!

I actually got into webcomics fairly recently, having not really known anything about them until college. Up until that point I'd been developing a sci-fi story that I had been working on since my senior year in high school. I figured comics would be a good way to make my work more easily accessible, and I wasn't the best writer (although I'm not god awful.) I love storytelling and I had just gotten into drawing when I started college.

I started work on Aetherwing very recently (maybe a year ago?) And I wanted to work on this particular story because I wanted to do something with angels, and I wanted to use it as a learning experience to feel out how I want to make comics in the future and develop a style. I'm going to be sort of putting myself through a gauntlet of different types of characters, environments, and monsters. Also I really love the story we've come up with for it. This is my first full-on fantasy story (I'm a sci-fi girl at heart.)

I also like to create things that I would want to read, but I haven't really seen in anything else yet. I like to immerse myself in this new place and create interesting characters and unique environments.

The Chronicles of SolLuna came from the desire to tell stories as well as drawing. Truth be told, I seriously started getting into drawing comics since 2013, but before then, it was a hobby while I was studying animation. When that didn't work, I switched to Visual Effects, but all the while I kept drawing. It wasn't until the 'Crash' of VFX jobs that I looked at the early version of my comic, and decided that I wanted to give comics a try.

As for the story itself; well it came from my love for Steampunk, science fiction and fantasy. However, the main character himself existed originally as a cyberpunk drawing that I made in 2009, but later made him into the steampunk sword-wielding, magic gun-slinging character that you see in the image above.

My manga is called Life of an Aspie

I like many others am not new to comic making. In fact, I've been drawing my own comics since the third grade. I've been traditional most of my life, but for the last couple of years, I've been making the conversion to digital which I prefer in some ways. Mostly all the time saving tools Manga Studio 5 offers that makes it faster for me to churn out art.

Anyway, Life of an Aspie is a shoujo comic I've had floating around in my head for over 4 years now. Only now am I finally putting my thoughts on drawing paper. My aim is to tell a story that has elements of shoujo, but really can't be classified as a simple shoujo manga. Also, I feel a female led manga where the heroine has some form of autism (Asperger's in my main character's case which I also have irl) is uncharted waters for graphic novels as a whole regardless of the protaganist's gender, so therefore, I feel like I'm really giving a form of value by making Life of an Aspie as opposed to making a plain vanilla shoujo manga which can be fun, but too predictable at times imo.

One of Us has a long story has a long story in his creation!
I started to make the first artwork and ideas 7 years ago when I was 15, in that period my art skill wasn't very good and the first ideas were full of clichè of anime. Over time my skill has improved and so the complexity of my characters but, the main problem was the environment because I didn't have any idea and, after a year; I decided to make a wild environment with a tribal society because they join very with the characters. After that I created the species of the wild world with their charaterics, society, religion and philosophy. Then I converted my fantasy into a sci-fi story after I took the idea of world-time travelling and also because I tended to make a logical biology of all my characters. With all these little ideas I made my own immaginary Universe and I'm so saturated of it that I don't need to make an initial script of my chapters because I feel like I'm there to represent on paper what's happening in that moment. That's all for now.....

I hope you have found it interesting its "behind the scenes" story because it's very important for me to make this comic and I hope to let a little sign to my readers.
Now there is only 1 chapter because I need a lot of time to make every page, I'm obsessed with details, but it's near the end (still 2 pages)
With the second chapter I will try to post it with regularity.

My comic is called Lucky Hazard. Has a tiny amount of subscribers, but nonetheless I hold them dear to my heart.

My comic's main cast was conceptualized in 4th grade, and I redesigned them to where they are now. I wanted to basically tell a grand story about all these characters in a doomed world, so I decided to start my comic. At first, in 4th grade, my comic was a 4-panel comedy comic. As time grew on, I had the need to tell a story. Mostly due to personal satisfaction. The story starts out slow because I want to focus on the characterization, and how every character grows close to one another. I also enjoy comics such as One Piece or JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, as well as things like K-On! and Yotsuba&.
here's a height chart for all the characters. it's the only up-to-date thing i have for all their designs.

I'm 1/3rd of the team that creates Kamikaze.

We actually started out as a pitch for an animated series! My husband and I (animation background), and our partner in crime (design background) worked for a good two years pulling the artwork together for the project. The original idea came about way back in 2004, but over time changed. Eventually we got to pitch the series to folks like Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, etc and pretty much everyone LOVED it, but...well...we weren't Batman. We didn't have that 'fanbase' they could springboard off of. So the team sat down and tried to figure out what we could do. It came down to two options:
1. Make an animated short
2. Make it a comic
Happily we made it a comic and our successes have only pushed us further forward! I love the comic community, and the encouraging atmosphere around it. Animation can be a grindhouse some time, and I'm glad we chose the comic route because that means we can really polish and shine our project without going crazy in budget for a 1 minute short. It's the like the difference between an entire fire work display (the slow build and ramp up to more fans and good story w/ the comic) vs...a bottle rocket (Oooooo...pop!....and it's over. That was a neat video, OH A KITTY ON A PIANO).

Well, my comic is about these colors living in the Nothingness, a strange and random place where anything can happen. It's called Room for Improvement and I really hope more people read it. While it's more of a gag comic, I am currently doing a sorta story thing. But i wanted to choose this comic path because I wanna make people laugh, plain and simple. Also, I REALLY wanted to avoid the slice of life kinds of comics because there's so many of them out there and I feel like sometimes they're the same comic in their substance. Idk, they all hve the similar vibe of, "look at me I'm quirky, check out my quirky lifestyle". Granted, i can see why people like them (and I know some people that have slice of like comics and i like them a lot) and i don't mean any offense to those who have these kinds of comics, but I wanted something a bit more... original? I just wanted something i can tell jokes with, and do it with unique characters. But enough ranting XD. Here's the characters.

My main project at the time is Fallacy which I've been working on slightly over 2 years now so it's quite new still. It's also the first comic I've seriously drawn or stuck with.

I started to read a lot of comics around the middle school when I got hooked on manga and realized that there's a huge variety outside of Donald Duck or horse comics that were published on specialized magazines. As the years went by I started to read even broader variety of comics and did some tests on (very stupid) ideas I had but they didn't go anywhere beyond few pages. Although in high school I managed to create a whole plot and plenty of characters but even that didn't really go anywhere as working on it took so long I realized how horrible the whole setting and plot were before I got too far in drawing. I let the idea go and didn't do anything else than reading comics for few years.

Then I happened to attend a panel in convention where a few Finnish webcomic makers were talking and especially Leppu (Prague Race) inspired me to finally dust off the old ideas, tear them down and redo everything in something I could be proud of. And then I started to draw. For the first 6 or so months I was going at it really slowly and treated it only as a hobby but as I started to figure how comics work I got really really hooked and realized that this is actually something I'd love to do professionally.

My project at the moment is 'Shade'
I've been drawing since god knows how long ago, and I always had an interest in animation and visual story telling. When I came across the existence of 'manga', I was struck at the art style and a type of story telling I hadn't been exposed to very often. I found it interesting how a lot of them seemed to be so emotionally intimate compared to other comics I came across (mind you, I was pretty young when I discovered manga, probably around 10 or so, I only ever really got into it at the age of 12/13)

Now for my actual manga itself, the story of its creation is somewhat funny when I look back. Out of my boredom during Year 7, I made a sketched comic based on my friends; turning them into characters and over exaggerating their personalities. It was a stupid comedy that had the same stupid humor as Gintama. I actually made up the comic along the way and didn't have any plans prior.
Over time, I started developing the characters even further and building up the plot if it was set on a different timeline. This was done casually in my free time. Along the way, I decided that I would develop these characters and this world even further. In between these developments, I was further influenced by other works I was reading at the time (Tokyo Ghoul, Berserk, etc.) and finally decided that I would get these characters and world, and aim to make a totally new manga filled with action, despair and tragedy.

After much shenanigans, I've finally gotten the entire plot down and I'm drawing the manga itself. If you want to see the original comedy versions of my current manga, just go on my deviantArt and you'll find them. (there are 2 of them, the newest being a more 'polished' version of the original)

My comic is 6,75

I've been drawing comics since I remember. And even before that, because I keep finding some old colouring books of mine, with little comics drawn by me on their covers c; I wanted to tell stories, but writing wasn't really my thing back then (with those comics on colouring books' covers I couldn't even write back then cx ), so I've chosen drawing. Drawing and telling stories used to be my two favourite things, so why not combine them?

But what is telling stories without any audience? That's why I decided to start uploading my series on the Internet. I realised that for me, having constant feedback, is the most motivating thing to keep drawing. I love seeing others' reactions, seeing that they care about characters, even just a bit- it tells me that I'm doing a good job. I want to make people happy, sad or intrigued with my stories.

And why 6,75? It was one of my first stories, though sadly I gave up on drawing it after one chapter. It was about 8 years ago : D Then I decided to change it, and finish it- because I still liked the story, and I still wanted it to be told. So yeah, here it is, and I hope I'll be able to complete it one day C:

my series is R:ILPERSONA

I was always in LOVE with comics & anime from an early age and I would always create my own characters and worlds based off of stuff from my imagination. When I was 16, a friend and I attempted to create a comic book (we had no idea what we were doing, obv) where I'd write the story and he would draw. Anyway nothing came out of it aside from the early concept of my series' main character, RADE: THE ASSASSIN .

Years passed but I always kept tinkering with the story, writing and rewriting it over and over and new characters and story paths formed over the years. About 5 years ago, I decided that I would go ahead and attempt to make the series become a reality instead of just an idea. After a few ups and downs, I managed to land employment which allowed for me to fund my vision and once I realized that this was my window of opportunity to do it, I just dove in and three years later here we are and while it is a lot of hard work & sacrifice marketing, networking, producing the series etc it is so worth it, I'm having the time of my life and I only started self publishing online since June it took me many years, but I finally realized what makes me truly happy. Doing THIS.

Hi! My comic is Veronika's Little World . I have been drawing for as long as I remember. I watched my first anime (didn't know that it was called anime back then) when I was six (Candy-Candy and Ikyuu-san), and was introduced to the world of Japanese Manga when I was in year 5. My parents, especially my mum, have always been comic enthusiasts, so I grew up reading Tintin, and many other translated Belgian/French/Dutch comics. I learnt drawing by hitting the pause button on my dad's video player so I could copy the anime characters that I love - needless to say he wasn't too happy about it, lol! I draw comics because I LOVE drawing people and their different expressions and I LOVE great storytelling. I used to separate the two aspects and wrote novels/fanfictions and drew the illustrations instead, but as I grew there was the desire to combine the two and for awhile I challenged myself by creating a semi-autobiographical comic strips on the process of growing up.

However, as I became too busy with my business and career, I quit drawing and writing altogether. The desire to draw/write again is always there, but it always takes the back seat, until the day I left my career entirely to be a stay-at-home mum. One day, I decided to return to my roots and started to pick up my sketch book again. Only now I am a different person than what I was 10 years ago. I'm more content with myself, and for a change I enjoy not having a career at all. That's how I decided my starting point all over again and began drawing about my life as a stay-at-home mum. Thus the birth of Veronika's Little World Drawing with two small children in tow is quite challenging, but my biggest reward came when my eldest said she loved reading the comic strips. I'm so glad that I finally come back to my senses and I really really hope never to stray from this path again.

My grandma's house was full of 80's uncanny x-men, spiderman, lucky luke and asterix and obelix. When I wasn't visiting there I went into my local library, which had very impressive comic collection for such a small building. I drew my fist comics around four years old and.. well they were 4 year old's comics in all their glory I kept the habit around, but had never the guts to actually publish anything online.

Then around three years ago I managed to gather enough courage to start drawing one of the longer projects I had in mind. Something I had been planning for four years and finally felt I had what it got to do it. And now three years after that I'm finally putting Numb out there for you guys to see

I was into comics since I was a kid, my cousine brought home some animus and I started to draw. At first it was just fanfics, but later I started to make my own stories. There was a lot of it, didn't really write a script or anything, when I had the idea I was just drawing. Plot holes? character development? Who cares?!
... Everyone, but as a kid didn't get it yet. I was always looking for a way to tell this little story in my head, I was even writing, but abandoned this way. Drawing was the only way I could fully express what I had on mind. Now the only writing is the script : )
Why do I do this? Because it's amazing. I love seing (more like reading) people's reactions. When they are reading my work I want to make them to get involved in the story, to feel emotions, even if it's only non-moving pictures on dead computer screen. I love reading comments between my readers, I love to see how they are trying to guess what is going to happen next. It's something you can't really express by words. It simply makes me happy.
