For drawing purposes I usually listen to chill indie/folk. It needs to be "sad-ish" as my friend put it, for me to be able to focus. Anyway, what's your best drawing music?

Idk, the live versions are so much more emotional/inspiring for me. Also this is my favourite song of all time.

I typically listen to Metal when I draw. I want to figure out how to draw with charcoal in a more horror fashion, but I just don't have the affinity for visual art.

It depends on what I'm drawing. If I'm drawing something chill or cute, I'll listen to some random lofi hiphop or jazz mixes. This is one of my favorites:

I've been listening to a lot of Coheed and Cambria (rock band) lately so sometimes it's that.
If I'm doing something fantasy-like I'll pull up the Lord of the Rings soundtrack or some fantasy video game mix like this:

The Final Fantasy 13 soundtrack remains one of my favorite soundtracks to draw to though for some reason. (Say whatever you want about the gameplay or story, but the soundtrack was great)

It's not music, but most of the time when I'm drawing I listen to let's plays or twitch streams. I do this because music is a source of inspiration that lets my brain wander and create new ideas, and I need to focus on what I'm doing when I'm drawing.

Currently my go to is the Achievement Hunter Minecraft SkyFactory let's plays.

Depends what I'm drawing. For Underworld Engine I listen to these bands a lot though.

Sometimes I have to stop drawing and just enjoy the music though, so it's not entirely productive haha. It helps more when I'm writing though.
