My favorite scene from my novel has to be the ending of the Jervis vs Sades fight.
Gripping the sword as hard as I can, I start slashing his barrier.
I start shouting at the top of my lungs, “Faster, faster, faster, faster!”
I need more speed.
I’ll use Lightning Blade, but I cannot use it for long.
Lightning Blade allows me to continue swinging my sword without leaving myself open to an attack after a swing.
If I use it for anytime longer than ten seconds, my arms will rip themselves off.
“Lightning Blade!”
The sound of thunder cancels out my ability to hear temporarily.
My slashes are getting progressively faster.
My attacks are so fast I can’t even see my own strikes anymore, but I can only hope I’m hitting my mark.
I hear a loud noise, it sounds like glass shattering, and then in the next moment,
Sades gets sliced in half from the waist down.
“I’m not done with you yet!”
I yell out while straining my vocal cords.
I start charging my blade beam to finish him off.
My sword is glowing with a jade green light.
“Blade Beam!”
A beam shoots out of my blade, completely obliterating whatever was left of Sades.
