Share your romantic couples!

Just for fun, since we all like a bit of romance on the side, let's share some of our romantic couples from our comics.
Only post two so you don't have a super long post. Just throw up your best ones.

Feel free to write a snippet about them and to ask your fellow writers for help if you feel you aren't portraying your romance as well as you'd like.

Both my webcomics aren't romances, but I do have a few couples.

Jupiter and Barbara from my current comic, Jupiter:
Jupiter's a robot and Barbara's a human. Jupiter was the only robot on earth when they first met in 1830. Barbara was a widow and was hoping to have more children, but gave up on that dream to be with him.

William and Sonia from my previous (completed) comic, May the Rain Come: (Not on Tapastic yet)
William just returned home from war to find himself alone and suffering from symptoms of post traumatic stress syndrome. Where William can't forget the horrors of war, the girl he meets upon his return home has memory problems. Together they have to teach each other to forget and remember respectively.

Acrux and Iliah from my short Back to Two which comes from a much longer sci-fi/romance epic that I'm still developing (and will hopefully get around to making someday.) They're a couple of hardened mercenaries that met on a military mission that went wrong and are both pretty solitary in personality.

Inura and Lizaeyla are a pair of DnD based characters that will be making a cameo in my current big project, Aetherwing. They're basically magic desert pirate elves.

There are other couples that get together in Aetherwing, but that would be revealing a bit too much.

Grassblades doesn't really have any romance in it (yet! There might be some coming up later down the line - can't tell you, because spoilers), but I do have a few other romantic couples in my other comics.

These two are named Egir and Ran, and were the main characters of my Christmas calendar-comic from 2014 - The Frozen Sea. They're married, and Egir stays home in his lighthouse by the sea and makes sure passing ships stay safe, and Ran roams the world on an endless adventure. They're the parents to the main character of my first finished graphic novel, Fathoms of the Sky.

And these two dorks are from a oneshot I made this summer, and they're named Torihara and Aiba. Torihara is a big ol' book-nerd who thinks reading books together counts as a date, and Aiba is the kind of man who wears sunglasses indoors, which kind of tells you all you need to know about him. XD

... I do have a lot of romantic couples in my various story-ideas, it's just that I haven't gotten around to drawing them yet. >.< The curse of having too many ideas and too little time!

Both these couples are from my comic series Tales from Swipe city. Although only Steve and jenny can be seen at this time on the Tapastic site where season one has not long started....

Steve Lawson and Jenny Azure.

Bit of a back story with these two... Steve is a cop who works for North side police ( the city is split into zones see the comic for more ) he is also the husband of Lawyer Lorraine Lawson.

Jenny is at present a hooker.. although to be fair not for the money. She is in fact addicted to sex (although I decided to leave that side of things out due to good taste, sorry if that got hopes up)

The pair met when Steve left the army and on returning home found Jenny had been hired to look after his son Danny, At the time Jenny was below age but ( as the story goes ) the pair began an affair. This was ended when Steve joined the force. The story picks up again in the first season and we find out what happens between the three members of the love triangle …..

Stanley Francisco and Alyona.

Not to give too much away but you will see the tale of these two when Season two kicks off in a few weeks. Theirs is a love of crime and blood.

Stanley was a former hit man, known as the killer of killers. He met his true love when Ivana was just a child (although of course they never became so until much later)

Ivana and her mother had been kidnapped from the somewhere in Russia when the girl was about 8, along with other slaves they found themselves working for a crime boss, (to be relieved) we meet the young girl as she has been caught by the crime boss trying to escape and in punishment she looses an arm. Finding his lost conscience, Stanley rescues the child and swears she will never be harmed by another man again. Later after she has been trained she becomes Alyona and the two become the lovers they were Destined to be.... God help the man to cross them.

The main couple from Socializing101 Mihai and Adilene, they're not a couple yet in the comic though, their relationship builds up thoughout the comic and I'm only at the start of the story.

They're pretty much almost opposites, introvert and extrovert. Mihai's awkward and anti-social but he's kind and honest while Adilene is social and friendly but dishonest and can be pretty mean if you get on her bad side. She tends to bully Mihai a lot since he's so expressive XD.

Well....there's a....questionable romance in Daniel...
Daniel and Christine's relationship is one of the main themes. They had been good friends for about seven years, and had in fact been in love with each other for a long time, but neither of them came forward about their feelings. Daniel came close to doing so one day, but then shortly after horrible, awful things happen.

Without giving too much away, they started out sweet, but now Christine is literally ready to hit Daniel upside the head with a fire poker because of how scary he's gotten. XD

Ummm...can it be from a comic that doesn't exist yet? Lol.... I have drawn a few panels here and there, and there's no official comic for these two yet. But still, it's gonna exist in the future for sure

These two are Gen and Celine (Cece). They are a couple who work as exorcists-for-hire. Cece is lively and loves spooky things, so her profession comes naturally to her and she enjoys it a lot. She's pretty handy with blades. Gen is a bit more mellow and deadpan but he's very warm and caring toward Cece. He was cursed by a demon when he was a kid, resulting in that third eye and his lifespan being shortened. Anyway, together they fight ghosts, monsters and stuff! Ahaha.

On the day her mother was killed, she was ripped away out of her father's arms and into a watery vortex, and now has trouble making lasting connections. He's been teaching her how to successfully jump off buildings. Together they make out in the middle of traffic and get physical with anyone trying to tell them to get a room.

I'm like a super romantic gushy person so pretty much all of my stories has more than two different love stories and i can GO ON. So this limit of too caused me to struggle because i had to figure out which two relationships i wanted to show. BOTH of them are from my comic Lalita at the end of the universe only one character out of the four in these pictures has made an appearance. but i love them.

Nina and Eli
Nina is a sharp mouth Culinary student with really low tolerance for anyone other than her family and friends. Eli is a energetic Med student who gained a habit of going to the cafe Nina worked at to study, eat whatever Nina baked and gather up the courage to talk to her. By the Eli shows up in the comic they will have been dating over half a year.

Xeena and Bunshy.
Xeena is a wily and sharp minded space ship captain who travels with her crew through the universe generally creating ruckus and sometimes helping people. Bunshy is her long lost love who is as equally headstrong and has a heart bigger than a sun. Currently Xeena is trying to heal from having lost Bunshy.

If i could i would go over all my facourite babies and their loves. but that would take so long. so here are these babies.

Well, D&W doesn't have much romance, as it's mostly just our single, miserable protagonist reminiscing about his past relatioinship. (although I have drawn some silly couply things on the side over the years)

In fact, so far the only "romance" we do have is a dysfunctional couple of this delusional "Satanist" and his girlfriend he lives off of.

My 2 main characters Saedie (red curly hair) and Amirah (dog ears & tail) from my comic Between the Realms which is circulated around the majority of romance with fantasy thrown in.

Honestly, I love these two. They are so much fun to draw together and they're probably the most in-depth romantic relationship I've ever made. Their personalities are both headstrong and independent, though there are differences that make them their own identities. Saedie happens to be more curious, grumpy, and often speaks before she thinks. Amirah is protective, professional, analytical, and softer around the edges. So far they're the only romantic relationship, but more may pop up as the series progresses.

Alice and Fenris is the only ship introduced so far in Malleus Maleficarum. Hmm.. If I had to give my honest opinion about this ship, I'd say it may come off a bit shallow and cliche to readers at first(dark haired guy x innocent blonde girl). But as the story progresses, I hope readers will learn to see there's more depth to it. Both Alice and Fenris had grown up with very unusual circumstances. As people, they're both a bit shy, socially awkward, and are very lonely people. I can't say much from here on without spoilers, but over time, they've grown attached to each other... or do they? This ship means a lot to me, and I hope I can do it justice ><

My OC's Tiana and Tyler from Bite Me.
Can't say much without spoiling anything, since the comic is still in early stage, but their relationship is certainly complicated more than it seems to be. It's vampire-mortal theme, that's why it can seem cliche and it is, but what I'm preparing will turn everything upside down (or maybe it will be another cliche I don't know about xD)!
It's my second ship, still I'm very sentimental about it. The project was suppose to be a one-shot, but I decided to transform it into full fledged webcomic, mainly because of them ^^

This is Bobby Tjaden and Aurealis (Aurora+Borealis) Maria.
Bobby was a womanizing scumface loanshark before he was brutally murdered by pretty much everyone he knew at his polygamous wedding. After he died, he hung around his gravestone all the time because he was still holding on to something in his life...

Aurealis left a flower on his gravestone because she visited frequently and his was the only grave that was never visited. Bobby then decides to follow her everywhere, intrigued.

Bobby becomes less and less of an ass the more he hangs out with Au, and she learns to love him more and moooore. <3

The romantic relationships in my comic are kind of a mess at this point. Everyone has crushes on multiple people. I guess right now the only real relationship is between Creep and Holly.

They're not officially dating, but they have kissed a few times and Holly asked Creep to be her date to a school dance. They like each other and are really happy whenever they get to see one another, but they're still kind of figuring out their feelings.

Creep also has a crush on Sam.

At this point his feelings aren't reciprocated romantically and they bicker a lot. But Sam does feel close to Creep because she thinks he's the only one who respects her and trusts her, so they're definitely on their way to becoming friends at least.

My comics dont really have couples yet- that or I have not gotten around to drawing the couples for the comics. However I have thousands of other stories and comics in the making with couples that i love and here are some of the ones that i love

From tables tops! XD this one is a world of darkness table top where i play a wolf boy and my friend plays a changeling. They have a sad moment where she reveals her true self to him and he still accepts her as she is and its adorable

These are some of my boys from a story I'm writing in the background. manly love but as you can bet by looking at the picture theres an issue in their romance :v

Veronika and Louie from Veronika's Little World There is not yet romantic drawing of them yet, but I'll get there eventually Veronika stays at home with the kids while Louie is the breadwinner and the long suffering husband who has to put up with lots of Veronika's and the kids' antics. Together they have fun raising their little family.
