Do any of you do lineups to compare the heights of your characters? I think it's super fun to have characters with various heights. Plus if you have a large cast, it can help you make sure they don't look too similar while designing them. Show off your lineups below, talk a bit about your characters and share your comic as well!

The first and tallest is my main. The second character in the lineup is actually also him but as a teen. He's gained some weight and broadened out since then, heh. The comic is about his life and is part vampire comedy/slice of life and part crime drama about 70s gangsters in London. I started it a year and a half ago, so it's still i the very early phases. The other characters from left to right are his human friend, SPOILERS, his old flame and his friend's daughter

I actually made a lineup for a recent Q&A!

The tallest here is Rosso with 186 cm and the shortest (and youngest) is Kai with 148 cm.
The second to last is the main character, Etsuo, who is 165 cm.
He's still 16, but I plan to keep him around this height even if he gets a bit older (his father is 170, too  )
Justice for shorter men~

Recently, I've been trying to pay attention to their height differences when drawing them, and I agree that a chart like this helps a lot.

you imitated the manga style well with the action lines in your comic. also thanks for knowing how to draw fat lol. it looks so weird sometimes when people can't do it well. you've also got some good hair designs going. nice!

Thank you!! (I hope you looked at more recent chapters haha)
Well, I'm not sure if I did it right for that character (I just realised I need more chubby characters!), but I'm glad if you think so.
Ahh the hair... I'm struggling so much to come up with somewhat distinct, but still fairly realistic hairstyles...
But your characters on the other hand, they've got very impressive designs! They've got all different hair, facial features, and their clothing style tells the viewer what kind of people they are. This is really what a comic-cast should look like.

haha thanks. it's really just my semi cartoony style though. i can get away with more weird-ness. my favorite hair for yours is the fellow with the glasses. i think his hair is super endearing if that makes sense x'D

I haven't decided on how tall my characters are. But the red and blue ones are the same height, with the orange being about half their height. I feel bad not drawing a chart for this so I'll leave a tiny little link h3ere
