Ohhh character designs. Love the designs so far, beautiful work, guys!

RetroBlade has...a lot of characters XD it's a team based comic rather than having just one protag. (Although I guess it does start out that way). Here's the main team:

Magnus, one of the main antagonists (or protagonists, depending on your perspective):

Leki (Axel's twin sister), Jared, a dude who will appear much later... and an early concept for Rin:

I have loads of other concepts that I'm going to share with my Patrons first ^^; these are just the ones that have been made public. I still need to concept some more that will appear later on. I usually do rougher sketches for background characters, unless they show up a lot.
Here's some sketches of the original Guardians, when I was first figuring out how they should look. (Their design is much more detailed now):

Of course, characters often evolve over time and their outfits and looks can change as they appear on pages. Axel and the Doc have appeared a lot so far, so they've changed quite a bit from the original concepts here.

I've got some new characters to add to this topic! I've been working on a new comic, Royal Pain, and made a height chart because the main characters like 4 feet tall and her friend is damn near 7 feet tall XP The height differences are out of control... From Left to Right:

Vigilance

Avian City is obsessed with the idea of
flight, but because of a plane crash a year ago that obsession has
started to become an area of conflict among the citizens of the city.
The city has also been over run with crime and its up to Vigilance to
save the city from itself. Vigilance is a new team of heroes who are
determined to clean up their city. and return it to the hopeful place it
ounce was.

Drakon Forge

Drakon Forge is an Action / Adventure / Comedy about a group of young travelers setting off on a quest to fulfill their dreams.

The story follows Aidan Keith and his quest to find answers to what
happened to his father. The sub plot is about each of the young heroes
pursuing their dreams, Aidan wants to be the strongest warrior, Sylvia
wants to be the best blacksmith and Felicia wants to be the most
knowledgeable mage.

So many really interesting things here! I love seeing the variation in what people emphasize on their characters and just the amount of styles going on in this thread. Awesome stuff!

I haven't put out my comic yet (preparing a couple things for a release later next month--hopefully), but I made a few turnarounds for consistency's sake a little bit back.
